Psalm 25: 9 & 12, "He guides the humble person by law, and He teaches His way to those who humble …Who is the man who fears the Lord? To him God shows the path that must be chosen. ". This verse talks about how we should not be basing something on our own understanding. Nama Pelayan Firman : Pr. Steven TIn todays TLC session, the speaker talked about Gods will. The speaker started the session by reading verses from the bible that is very familiar. Psalm 25: 9 & 12, "He guides the humble person by law, and He teaches His way to those who humble Who is the man who fears the Lord? To him God shows the path that must be chosen. ". This verse talks about how we should not be basing something on our own understanding. There are a few quotes from other people who I really like, among others, from John Calvin, who said there was no greater than the will of God, except God's own self. And also there is a quote from someone else, namely, the price to be paid to an obedience to God's will is much lighter than the price paid for a non-compliance. The will of God also branched into three, in the form of provisions, orders, and dispositions. The first is hidden, and are expressed. Hidden has more quotes from John Calvin that is when God shut the mouth of His holy, I stopped to investigate. " This indicates that when God is angry, we should stop. In between all that kosher, there is a principle. The thing I really like is when the speaker said that the parents simply an instrument of God to preserve us, but if we already believe and maybe a parent is not there anymore, we need not fear, because we believe in God. Despite that, I do not have any disagreements to the session today. It is also challenged by the speaker is we must ask ourselves if we glorify God? What is the building? And also another question that concerns about our faith. This is quite relevant to our lives because we ourselves are sometimes like to blame interpret God's will and stand on our own understanding, so we need to know the will of God. Last but not least, I also learnt that the Bible will help us to know God's will. This can be seen from the verse Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path (Psalm 119:105).
