Drive to 55• Approximately 37.8 percent of
working age Tennesseans currently hold a postsecondary credential
• To reach the Drive to 55, 871,309 additional credentials will need to be awarded by 2025.

SBE Master Plan Goals• TN will rank in the top half of states on
the NAEP by the year 2020.
• The average ACT composite score in TN will be a 21, or a comparable score of 990 on the SAT, by 2020.
• The majority of high school graduates from the class of 2020 will earn a postsecondary certificate, diploma, or degree.
