Mr.Amit Bharadwaj(Senior Officer from NITI Aayog) Mr Amit Bharadwaj is a Senior officer from NITI Aayog (erstwhile Planning Commission) having core areas of expertise in Transport and Industries sector. Possess Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and MBA. In addition to above, possess Masters in Public Administration and Masters in Economics. Completed various Diplomas and PG Diplomas in inter-disciplinary areas like Labour Laws, Industrial relations, Industrial Safety, etc. Experience of more than 12 years of serving Government in various capacities, In present role as Dy. Adviser, primarily dealing with Road Transport, roads development in addition to Port Devel-opment, Rural roads and Shipping sector. Presently involved in preparing the Vision document for Transport sector for next 15 years replacing the traditional 5 year plan process. Working on the combined vision of new Transport as Affordable, Shared, Connected and Zero emission. Worked on National Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Policy which is addressing the Con-nected theme and various facets of other two i.e., shared and zero emission, aspects as well.
