TENDER NOTICE FOR REHABILITATION OF THE EMBASSY

TENDER NAME: REHABILITATION OF THE EXISTING BUIDLING AND LANDING SCAPING INCLUDING MARKING PARKING LOTS FOR THE

EMBASSY

Background:

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Nairobi invites your quotation for

rehabilitation of existing physical infrastructure and conducting landscaping at the

embassy building in Westlands, Nairobi. Procurement for the rehabilitation and land

scaping will be carried out in accordance with the Public Procurement, Concession

and Disposal Act of 2014, of Federal Government of Somalia.

The vendor completes the price schedule and quantities furnished with the Request

for Quotations, the unit prices, the total price for each item and the proposed delivery

time to carry out the contract.

Instructions: The completed tenders in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked on top “Tender Number TN: SEK/02/2020 for REHABILATION AND LANDING for embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia shall be addressed to Procurement office of the embassy at our current in embassy office in Kilimani, Nairobi not later than 12.00 PM on 3rd of March, 2020.

The price of your quotation should clearly indicate the price includes any taxes and

duties; mentioning taxes and duties should include (if applicable).

Sealed tenders are invited from registered and reputable construction companies

validly registered and existing in Somalia and Kenya for the rehabilitation and

landing of the embassy. Interested contractors are requested to submit their offers as

per specifications on the tender document. Bids must remain valid for a period of

ninety (90) days from the date of tender opening.

The spreadsheet tin the annex part contain the BoQs of the contents. However, it also

advised that contractors visit the site before quote is summitted. Kindly observe the

requirement and fill accordingly.

Eligibility:

The interested bidders must have the following qualifications, which will be

submitted together with the price quotation documents as of evidence for eligibility:

1. Company registration certificate from the Ministry of Commerce, Federal

Government of Somalia or registration certificate from Kenya

2. Bank Statement for the last (2) years accompanied by certified Auditing

certificate from a certified Auditors Firms

3. Should have minimum five years of experience in the construction industry

4. Should have completed at least two contracts of similar nature in the last 5

years

Documents to be summited: The bidders must submit the following reports:

1. Annual Reports and Financial statements at least for the last (2) years;

2. Company’s Profiles;
