Classroom teaching helps the students by making conceptual base clear
and job training proceed on practical way, which helps students to get
the practical knowledge of the concept. Normally students are not aware
of actual requirements in practical field keeping in view this fact, a
system of summer training has been established to make students aware
of actual difficulties that come in way, which is not taught in classroom
teaching so, the students are given practical training in the course of
their education.
The Broad objective of the project is to equipped the trainees with all the
quality which is essential to face any circumstances which can arisewhile providing service to clients.
Working as summer trainee at to Global InnovSource Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
was a wonderful experience, it gave me immense understanding about
how companies are making business through cold calling, telephonic
calling and other various way .
All these steps help me to understand how to cope up with different
types of people and their diversified need and satisfaction level.

The purpose of the study is to do the Market Research on study the
opportunity of temporary staffing in India.
Today's struggling economy continues to force medical practices to
make tough choices concerning one of their biggest operating expenses
and one of their greatest assets - their staff.
Staff costs, such as healthcare, insurance, taxes and benefits, are soaring
at a time when practices are under even greater pressure to perform.
Everyone's being asked to do more with less. The mandate continues to
get and stay lean.

TEMPORARY STAFFING
Temp recruitment model say it helps companies to remain agile, enabling them to
expand and contract their workforce and their expenses with the flow of the
market. Because companies can select people with the exact skills they are seeking
for a specific amount of time, temps are often an ideal, if temporary. More and
more companies are beginning to understand what benefits these short-termassignments can bring to an organization. temping allows companies to hire
temporary staff to cater to peak demand conditions, hire staff with specialized
skills for projects of short duration, or terminate temporary staff when demand
falls.
Temp jobs offer flexibility to both employees and companies. Candidates
can choose when, where, and how they want to work. Companies get the skills
they need to keep fully staffed during busy times. Temp jobs gives flexibility to the
employees so it gives time for them to pursue non-work interests.
Contract jobs provide a bridge to permanent employment. Candidates can
try out prospective employers and showcase their skills towards a permanent job.
Most of the contract workers feel that its a way to get a permanent job, and also
there can arise a choice among the temp workers where they select and move on

to get a permanent job, else they can find another employer and try for a better job.
Even from the companys perspective they have the choice to offer the temp
worker for the permanent position.
The biggest advantage from the companys view is that it has lesser number
of employees on the payroll and by that it saves on all functions and all relatedcosts like recruitment, payroll, training and development benefits, bonus, leave
with pay and all such legal and statutory provisions and secondly it helps the
company to buy skills rather than develop skills.
Many candidates choose contract work as an employment option. They can
select their work schedule and choose among a variety of diverse and challenging
assignments. Most of the contract workers prefer this alternative arrangement over
traditional employment. Employees prefer to work for a staffing company because
they like the diversity and challenge of different jobs. Candidates gain new skillsor polish their skills through the variety of jobs they are assigned to. Most of the
Temp workers do gain new skills through their assignments.
Advantages of Temp Jobs :
Useful way of gaining experience in different areas of business.
No long term commitment to one company.
Usually get flexible hours.
After a few temp jobs (where you prove yourself to the recruitment
agency), getting some more temp jobs is pretty easy.
You meet lots of different people. The social life can be good if there
are a lot of temps in one company. If you get a temp job after graduating, you can impress lots of people
with your skills!
If you do impress lots of people, one of them might offer a decent
permanent job.

Disadvantages of temp jobs:
No job security.
No benefits package. No holidays.
You may have gaps in employment on a regular basis.
You are not involved in decision making. .
You can get fired without any notice at all. You have very little
employee rights as a temp.
Recruitment Agencies are unlikely to find you permanent work if you
are on a temp job through them
What started out as an attempt at getting experience may turn, without
warning, into a career.
The disadvantages for the company is that they fear that the employee might
quit the job at any point of time and may switch over to any other company
offering a better pay for the same job, so again they need to find another
employee for the same job.
Viewing Temp Staffing in a Positive angle, I can say that everyone is benefited
The company, Temps, and the recruiting agency. Where everyone strives for
their growth and betterment of the Society. The temps can be encouraged by
providing a better pay and also few services/benefits from the Staffing

This industry has got both Organized and Unorganized category.
Ashish Arora , MD, HR, Anexi said that this industry in termsof revenue is Rs.500 crore and in terms of people about 1%-
2% of the total working population.
Mr.Shishir Gorle,CEO, Global Innovsource said the tempstaffing industry employee makes the 5lacs-7lacs people today
on the Organized sector and 200 times more in the

*In the case of fixed term employment Gratuity is not provided for. In the event of renewal of
such contracts for a period more than that stipulated by the Gratuity Act and liability of gratuity
arising thereon, this amount will be invoiced to Client.
** CTC: Cost to Company includes Basic Salary (including DA), HRA, other allowances,
Company contribution of Provident Fund, ELDI Charges, Company contribution of ESIC /
Medical Allowance, Statutory Bonus, Insurance charges (each where applicable), Performance
incentives, etc. Compensation can be structured as per company requirement subject to meeting
all norms, and provisions of law and minimum wages.

7) The proofs mentioned in the Income Tax Declaration forms needs to be sent to MumbaiOffice before the last week of December.

Day to Day JOB EXPERIIENCE:
Summer Training at GLOBAL INNOVSOURCE has given a full fledged
experience about the market of Gurgoan . It gave complete on- job training aboutselling products to the corporate, it has added values to my interpersonal skills. The
training at GLOBAL INNOVSOURCE has given learning on various aspects:
Corporate Culture This training gave me exposure and experiences of
corporate culture. At GLOBAL INNOVSOURCE we have half an hour morning
session which includes some kind of games, debates etc. which ohelp to remain in
good mood whole day. In tenure of two months I enjoyed tour to water park with
senior member of staffing team which give some mental relief with parallel to
work pressure. Another event I enjoyed there was a blitz activity (ie. saturation

bombarding) where we capture the certain corporate zone of Noida with Regional
Head to the Trainee (including 15 members).
Team Work - It made me to work as team and share knowledge to earnmaximum profit from the market.
Customer Attitude - This training has an opportunity to understand and deal

Working under odd circumstances under the sun with temperature between 45`C
- 49`C, and sometimes with continuous failure of getting information about the
details of HRM of a particular organization introduced me to the real world.

In this project for collection I have given concentration on filling through ClientMapping Form (CMF), Questionnaires, Cold calling , Tele calling etc. It is done so
as questionnaire method has many advantage, though it also has some
disadvantage.
Advantages
Almost every Business to business marketing problem can be approached through
Client Mapping From standard point. Every marketing problem involves people,
so related idea to the problem and their solution can be obtained by asking these
people directly about the problem. Knowledge, opinions, motivation and intentions
are not usually opened in observations. On the other in BtoB marketing is usually

Disadvantages
But Client Mapping From or questionnaire method is not a full proof method of
collecting data. The usual disadvantage of this method are the respondent may be

STATISTICAL TOOLS USED
Study of the whole universe for a research project is quite impossible as the size of
the universe may be very big and also due to time and money constraint. Hence
sampling becomes inevitable. A sample size is set to collect information required
for the research. A sample is just a subset of the universe.
The type of the sampling used by me on this project is
Non Probability Sampling
Based on the sample size related information are collected and then they are edited
coded and tabulated. After that different statistical tools are used to analyze and to
find results.
The different statistical tools used may include percentage, average, and measure
of dispersion. Alternatively the collected data may be tabulated to produce useful
relationships among the variables involved. To conduct a more sophisticated
analysis, correlation and regression analysis may be conducted. Furthermore
various statistical 0tool test like T, F, X2 etc. may be applied the most complicated
and sophisticated analysis is to attempt multivariate analysis, on the available data
by using advanced statistical and cluster analysis. Finally meaning of data may be
extracted from the analysis.
Thus conducted the condition summary and recommendations of research are
based o the statistical analysis and inferences.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
Though this project utmost care has been taken to check out errors committed
while typing but possibility of human error cannot be ruled out. There were
different constrain which I have to take care of and those limitation are
Time Limitation
Due to time limitation sample was chosen according to convenience. The numbers
of respondents were restricted to three hundred fifty only. As for more numbers off
respondents means more time. The research work completed with all its analysis
within two months, so I have look after this time constraint.
Cost Limitations
Research work is more valuable if it covers all clients in their respective areas. But
due to cost limitation this was not possible.
BiasThere is a probability that the respondent didnt give true answers due to different
various limitations. There may also be a probability that they gave wrong
informations.

While undergoing summer training in Global Innov there were various difficulties
faced:
Terms and Condition of the Clients: Sometimes the Terms and Condition of the
Client on the payment procedure are not feasible with terms and condition of the
organization. For example client wants to be agree on the terms of 4% of monthly
CTC which is no more profitable to the organization.
Lack Of support: from the Requirement department of the Staffing team
sometimes while giving proper line up of candidates to the client according to
provided JDs from client which makes difficulties to maintain a loyal relationship
with the client in future.
Lack of Knowledge: While last week of my training I has to make some GBA
( Global Business Associates) due to lack of jobx portol Knowledge.
Time/ Budget Constraint: There was time constraint while doing the training.
Some of the HR managers wanted to call after sometime. Hence it caused
difficulty in arranging the meetings for the seniors.
Environmental factor: It is hard to go for cold calling after lunch hour during the
month of May and June.
