Frankfort, IL, we have to stay up-to-date with the

trends happening in the world of fashion. Because

our customers have products that need trendy

are considered “in.” On the other hand, being a

small(er) town in the south suburbs of Chicago, it’s

hard to see and be exposed to these trends when you

are not directly in the city or in New York. These

“trends” for men are what NY fashion weeks says

are “in” for the Fall of 2015. Would you rock these

outfits or take a hard pass?

President’s Corner“Is Anyone Concerned Yet?” Wooden Jewelry Displays (Floor and Counter)

Monday August 24th, 2015 was a terrible day in the stock market. At one point in the day, the Dow Jones Industrial

average dipped 1089 points. The S & P and the NASDAQ also fell proportionately.

The reason behind all of this can be summed up in one word, “China.” The world’s second largest economy moved two weeks ago to devalue its currency (The Yuan) because of

weakness in its economic forecast. In a flight to safety traders bought “Good Old” United States Treasury bonds!

As I write this on Tuesday August 25th, the market is beginning to somewhat recover. For our sake, let’s hope it

continues. My point here is that we should all be a little concerned about our growing dependence on China, and we

should do what we can to move more of our businesses and jobs back to the United States. That’s the real solution, not

“tinkering” with the value of our individual currencies or interest rates.
