What was the outcome?AtAXIS(MNC,) where I worked there was situation at one point of time at which there were 2 Techniques for developing the Acceptance Test Suit of scripts –1.Descriptive TechniqueWhich is laborious and cumbersome.2.Object Repository (OR) Technique—a good feature provided by the testing tool QTP (Quick Test Professional).OVERALL,IT’S A GOOD RESPONSE FROM SUPERIORS THAT I HAVE CARRIED OUT PERFORMANCE/TEAM BUILDING.My Manager was reluctant to work with the OR technique thinking that Descriptive is thebest method.Actions: I used a data based approach for decision making, listed the pros and cons of both the methods, made a presentation and managed to convince my Manager and REGIONAL HEADS & THEY HAVE GOT IMPRESSED.
