1. Sew pieces to (1) 3½” Fabric D square in the following order as shown below and on the next page;

2. Add subsequent pieces to the previously sewn unit in the following order to complete (1) Block #1.
Make a total of (13) Block #1.
Top - (1) 2” x 6½” Fabric E rectangle
Right - (1) 2” x 8” Fabric E rectangle
Bottom - (1) 2” x 8” Fabric F rectangle

Constructing Block #2
3. Sew (2) 1” x 5½” Fabric H rectangles to the top and bottom of (1) 5½” Fabric E square, followed by
(2) 1” x 6½” Fabric H rectangles to the left and right sides of the same Fabric E square.
4. Sew (2) 2” x 6½” Fabric A rectangles to the top and bottom of unit made in Step 3.
5. Sew (2) 2” x 4¾” Fabric A rectangles to the opposite long sides of (1) 1” x 2” Fabric H rectangle to
make a column unit. Make (2) column units. Sew column units to the left and right sides of unit made in
step 4 to complete (1) Block #2. Make a total of (12) Block #2.

7. Sew together pieced rows and (4) 2" x 45½" Fabric A Sashing Rows to complete quilt center,
see Quilt Assembly Diagram on Page 7.
Quilt Top Assembly
8. Inner border #1. Sew (2) 2½” x 51½” Fabric A strips to the left and right sides of quilt center,
followed by (2) 2½” x 49½” Fabric A strips to the top and bottom of quilt center.
9. Inner border #2. Sew (2) 1¼” x 55½” Fabric H strips to the left and right sides of quilt center,
followed by (2) 1¼” x 51” Fabric H strips to the top and bottom of quilt center.
10. Inner border #3. Sew (2) 3½” x 57” Fabric C strips to the left and right sides of quilt center,
followed by (2) 3½” x 57” Fabric C strips to the top and bottom of quilt center.
11. Inner border #4. Sew (2) 1½” x 63” Fabric B strips to the left and right sides of quilt center,
followed by (2) 1½” x 57” Fabric B strips to the top and bottom of quilt center.
12. Outer border. Sew (2) 3½” x 65” Fabric I strips to the left and right sides of quilt center, followed
by (2) 3½” x 65” Fabric I strips to the top and bottom of quilt center to complete quilt top.
Finishing
13. With the backing fabric laying taut, place batting and then quilt top to form quilt sandwich.
14. Baste and quilt as desired.
15. Attach Fabric K binding to complete quilt.
