1. Introduction The tested batch of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed ST/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper cable assemblies has passed the Fibercons service life testing program based on Telcordia GR-326-CORE, issus3, September 1999. The primary goal of this test program is not only to confirm the optical performance of the components, but also determine the performance of the components under severe environmental and mechanical conditions.
2. Samples A population of twenty test samples, fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)jumper cable assemblies are randomly collected from production line. The sample numbers and the product ID of the samples are listed in Table 1.

5. Tests and Summary 5.1 Sample initial test Before starting the GR-326-CORE Service Life test, the optical performance of the 20 samples ( fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)patch-cord) was examined under a normal environment condition: room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC and relative humidity of 30% to 70%. The test results are summarized in Table 5.1 and 5.2

5.2 GR-326-CORE test result The Service Life tests have been performed on these 20 samples. They were tested in sequentially. All mechanical and geometry tests were performed at a room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC (73 oF±9 oF) and a relative humidity of 30% to 70%. The detailed testing results are listed in the Appendix. 5.3 Summary The test results have indicated that 20 samples of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed ST/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper Cable assemblies well maintained their insertion loss, reflectance and loss increase within the pass/fail criterion after testing or during/after testing.

1. Introduction The tested batch of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed SC/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper cable assemblies has passed the Fibercons service life testing program based on Telcordia GR-326-CORE, issus3, September 1999. The primary goal of this test program is not only to confirm the optical performance of the components, but also determine the performance of the components under severe environmental and mechanical conditions.
2. Samples A population of twenty test samples, fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)jumper cable assemblies are randomly collected from production line. The sample numbers and the product ID of the samples are listed in Table 1.

Tests and Summary 5.1 Sample initial test Before starting the GR-326-CORE Service Life test, the optical performance of the 20 samples ( fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)patch-cord) was examined under a normal environment condition: room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC and relative humidity of 30% to 70%. The test results are summarized in Table 5.1 and 5.2

5.2 GR-326-CORE test result The Service Life tests have been performed on these 20 samples. They were tested in sequentially. All mechanical and geometry tests were performed at a room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC (73 oF±9 oF) and a relative humidity of 30% to 70%. The detailed testing results are listed in the Appendix. 5.3 Summary The test results have indicated that 20 samples of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed SC/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper Cable assemblies well maintained their insertion loss, reflectance and loss increase within the pass/fail criterion after testing or during/after testing.

1. Introduction The tested batch of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed LC/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper cable assemblies has passed the Fibercons service life testing program based on Telcordia GR-326-CORE, issus3, September 1999. The primary goal of this test program is not only to confirm the optical performance of the components, but also determine the performance of the components under severe environmental and mechanical conditions.
2. Samples A population of twenty test samples, fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)jumper cable assemblies are randomly collected from production line. The sample numbers and the product ID of the samples are listed in Table 1.

Tests and Summary 5.1 Sample initial test Before starting the GR-326-CORE Service Life test, the optical performance of the 20 samples ( fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)patch-cord) was examined under a normal environment condition: room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC and relative humidity of 30% to 70%. The test results are summarized in Table 5.1 and 5.2

5.2 GR-326-CORE test result The Service Life tests have been performed on these 20 samples. They were tested in sequentially. All mechanical and geometry tests were performed at a room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC (73 oF±9 oF) and a relative humidity of 30% to 70%. The detailed testing results are listed in the Appendix. 5.3 Summary The test results have indicated that 20 samples of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed LC/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper Cable assemblies well maintained their insertion loss, reflectance and loss increase within the pass/fail criterion after testing or during/after testing.

1. Introduction The tested batch of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed FC/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper cable assemblies has passed the Fibercons service life testing program based on Telcordia GR-326-CORE, issus3, September 1999. The primary goal of this test program is not only to confirm the optical performance of the components, but also determine the performance of the components under severe environmental and mechanical conditions.
2. Samples A population of twenty test samples, fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)jumper cable assemblies are randomly collected from production line. The sample numbers and the product ID of the samples are listed in Table 1.

Tests and Summary 5.1 Sample initial test Before starting the GR-326-CORE Service Life test, the optical performance of the 20 samples ( fifteen(15)pigtail assemblies and five(5)patch-cord) was examined under a normal environment condition: room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC and relative humidity of 30% to 70%. 5.2 GR-326-CORE test result The Service Life tests have been performed on these 20 samples. They were tested in sequentially. All mechanical and geometry tests were performed at a room temperature of 23 oC±5 oC (73 oF±9 oF) and a relative humidity of 30% to 70%. The detailed testing results are listed in the Appendix. 5.3 Summary The test results have indicated that 20 samples of 3.0mm PVC-Sheathed FC/PC type pigtail assemblies/jumper Cable assemblies well maintained their insertion loss, reflectance and loss increase within the pass/fail criterion after testing or during/after testing.
