We are thankful to be able to go on our knees and thank our heavenly Father that we have jobs and are privileged to work with His creations and prepare them for the challenges the future holds. People tend to focus on the negative in life to such an extent that we sometimes lose track of the beautiful and meaningful. Fortunately there are numerous positive things taking place at our school. To name a few: The gr 1 Openday, the gr 6 Leaders’ Camp, the gr 7 Educational tour and many more. We appreciate the invaluable co- operation and support of teachers and parents!

What a busy time this is at Sabie Primary School. We are thankful to be able to go on our knees and thank our heavenly Father that we have jobs and are privileged to work with His creations and prepare them for the challenges the future holds. GR 1 OPEN DAYOn Friday 12 Sept we held our Gr 1 Open Day. Thank you to everyone that made the day possible. Daar is aktiwiteite in die klasse gedoen met die opgewonde kleintjies. We look forward to welcoming the grade 1’s next year! Dankie aan Juf Suzanne Pieterse en die grondslagfase juffrouens se moeite om die dag suksesvol te maak.Leierskamp: Op Vry 19 Sept het 42

baie opgewonde Gr 6 leerders die pad aangepak na Sabie River Camp. There were 6 groups ranging from the Moon Lions, Rhino’s, Dream Team, 7’s, Stallions and the “weet-nie-span”. They had teambuilding activities on Saturday, a braai and a camp-fire concert. Die hele kamp was ‘n kompetisie tussen die spanne. Na bonus en strafpunte bereken is, het die Rhino’s met 1 punt die Moon Lions gewen. In die derde plek was die (weet-nie-span). Thank you to each teacher that contributed to the weekend. Thank you to the grade sixes!!

September. Ons het baie geleer.

Landloop: Saterdag 20 September het die Mpumalanga Skole

Landloopkampioenskappe by H/S Lydenburg plaasgevind. Daar was 54 atlete vir elke ouderdomsgroep. Die 2 atlete van Sabie wat deelgeneem het

was Lutendo Modau 0/10 en Marco Janse van Rensburg 0/12. Baie geluk

aan die 2 seuns.Hokkie: Dit het die seisoen

goed gegaan met ons hokkiedogters. Although we lost a few games, the girls really learned a lot

and improved. Baie dankie aan juf Robyn Gouws vir al

haar harde werk.

Impala Project: a record amount of R30 500 has been

raised. Sonder die borge se hulp en ons positiewe ouers se

ondersteuning kan die projek nie jaar na jaar so ‘n sukses wees nie.

Everybody’s support is highly appreciated.

gevier! Die gasspreker was tannie Alba Pretorius en 45 kinders het in al die pret gedeel. Pret was daar baie: raaisels, kompetisies, danse, pryse vir Afrika, foto-fantasie en natuurlik iets vir die maag. Baie geluk aan al die pryswenners van plakkate en kompetisies. Afrikaans bo!
