• Maintain proper inflation pressure longer: Tires inflated with compressed air lose 2 psi/month. It takes up to 6 months or more for the same loss with nitrogen

• Improve fuel efficiency: Properly inflated tires provide a 3.3% increase in miles/gallon

Flexible entry boots have no metal components exposed to the ground environment, and firmly fasten and seal to the sump wall using galvanized steel studs, nuts, and a plastic flange with compression ring. The boot provides a watertight seal where pipe or conduit enters a containment sump, and allows up-and-down, side-to-side, and fore-and-aft movement. It also allows angled pipe entries of up to 12° off the centerline. Due to bolts being inside the plastic flange there is no opportunity for water and fuel to get through. With the usage for double walled pipes, you have the ability to seal the between of the inner and outer pipe.

The 94003 and 94003-P can be used to seal 2” single and double walled and 2.5” single walled flexible pipes, rigid pipes, or conduits. Could be used with 63 mm – 75 mm outer diameter pipes.

Easy mounting from inside or outside, since the bolts are buried inside the flange.

The 94004 can be used to seal 4” and 3” single walled flexible pipes, rigid pipes, or conduits. Could be used with 90 mm – 110 mm outer diameter pipes.

In the piping system there is an important issue regarding line testing and system servicing. With our cast flanges for pressure, vent and filling lines you could dismount the line for testing and servising purposes. It is as easy as unscrewing 4 bolts and nuts.

Tank measuring and filling caps have an important role to avoid fuel vaporization. They have a special seal to keep these openings tight. Single-hand opening is achieved by the lever on the side.

These caps have holes to enable locking.

Nitrogen is the most commonly used industrial gas in

the world. It is used across many different applications

and markets. With nitrogen generators, production of

nitrogen or oxygen enriched air from compressed air is

easy and efficient.

As nitrogen is an inert gas, it means that it will not react

with other components. Nitrogen used with chemicals

this usually is regarding fast oxidation or fire/explosion

prevention. To prevent chemicals from catching fire or

exploding it is common to cover the chemical with a

“blanket” of nitrogen. This process is called blanketing.

When you compare the energy costs for making the same amount of nitrogen with a Parker membrane and with a competitive membrane you will find that the Parker module will produce the same amount of nitrogen but with much lower energy costs.

Fire Prevention

One application is the use of nitrogen for fire prevention. We all know the stories where mines explode/collapse and mine workers are trapped inside the mine. The reason for this explosion is often due to mine gasses piling up within the confined space. When this large amount of mine gas is ignighted a fire arises, causing a lot of damage. Nitrogen is used to to prevent or extinquish mine fires, the reason being is other options such as water damages the mine itself, making it impossible to continue working within the mine.
