100 Years In The Making!!!100 Years In The Making!!!1917- Amateur Bucking Contest, Horse Races, Community Picnic of early settling families in our area1929- Leslie Hoag rode one of the first bucking horses with no chutes or corrals1934- 1939-Stampede held at McKenzie’s farm (1/2 mile south)-Location of Sorkenville today1939 - Horse races, baseball, bathing beauty contest, basketball, softball, water sports, rodeo and horse show .1940- Stampede moved to current location and Teepee Creek Hall was built1941-1800 Attended1942- New Hall kitchen1943-Rusty Hollingworth added the Musical Ride to the Stampede. Welcome To The 100th Annual Teepee Creek Stampede

It’s hard to believe that we are heading into the 100th edition of the Teepee Creek Stampede -time sure fly’s when you’re having fun! The 2016 Teepee Creek Stampede will mark 100 years of blood, sweat,tears and vol-unteerism. I speak for generations of hard working folks that have sacrificed so much to make the stampede what it is today. We are very proud to be part of something so rich in the western heritage, community spirit and comradery.

At the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) in November, The Teepee Creek Stampede was awarded Rodeo of the Year for the 2nd year in a row by Pro Rodeo Canada. This award is a great honour to receive and is a reflection on our entire team of volunteers and sponsors that make the Teepee Creek Stampede possible we share this great award with all of you and thank you for your continued support. It truly is recognition of everyone that is part of our rodeo - and our sponsors are all part of Team TP!

As we have continued to grow and improve the Teepee Creek Stampede over the years, sponsorship has always been, and will continue to be, an essential part of our event. Our 2016 sponsorship packages have been re-vamped and improved -you will notice a few changes in all of the packages and the addition of an entirely new sponsorship opportunity.

We are building toward our 100th and 101st year celebrations and we invite you to consider increasing your sponsorship level.
