ILAC has several options for teens who wish to study in two of the safest, most multicultural and beautiful cities in the world. Teenagers who meet the necessary level requirements also have the option to take Academic Classes, including TOEFL, IELTS preparation and Business English.

Students will develop English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills necessary to participate effectively in everyday social situations.

ILAC offers a fantastic range of optional social events and activities, available in the mornings, evenings, and all day on Wednesday. Social events and activities are the best way to experience Canada, practice English and socialize with students from all over the world.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:50PM - 5:50PM Social Events Day on Wednesday Lessons are 45 minutes in length.

CORE ENGLISH LESSONS:GENERAL ENGLISH AND CAMBRIDGE PREPARATION ALL LEVELSStudents will learn all skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary through the Communicative Approach to English learning. Students will also practice for sitting the Cambridge exams. Depending on your English level, you will practice the KET, PET, FCE or CAE exams.

TOEFL OR IELTS LEVEL 10: PRE-ADVANCED (and up) Students who wish to prepare for either entrance exam may choose TOEFL or IELTS preparation instead of General English. Students will focus on preparation for these exams.

UNIVERSITY PREPARATION LEVEL10: PRE-ADVANCED (and up) ILAC's Pathway Program is designed to students prepare for university. Students will learn academic writing, presentation and reading comprehension skills required for university. Students will also practice the TOEFL exam. Our Pathway program is recognized by more than 60 universities and colleges in Canada.

COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH ALL LEVELSStudents develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and idioms.

IF YOU ARE DENIED A VISA:You are entitled to receive a FULL REFUND (less program registration fee, custodianship letter and all bank transfer charges) If you are unable to obtain lawful entry to Canada for the purpose of studying at ILAC. You must provide the letter from the Canadian Embassy stating that your Visa to enter Canada was denied. Students who have applied through an agent must contact the agent for a refund. ONCE YOU RECEIVE AN ENTRY VISA OR IF AN ENTRY VISA IS NOT REQUIRED:To withdraw from the program at ILAC, you must first provide a written letter including a sufficient reason for withdrawing. You must demonstrate that your stay in Canada is lawful or that you will be leaving the country. ILAC will require proof that you are attending another school that meets the Visa requirement, and ILAC will require proof that your Visa status is lawful. If you have a student Visa, you will have to re-apply for a new Visa. Students who have applied through an agent must contact the agent for a refund. ILAC will require proof that you are leaving the country early by showing a photocopied plane ticket. Once you have started studying the first 4 weeks of your tuition and Homestay are non-refundable. Please note that refunds may take up to 8 weeks to process.Refunds are calculated based on the unused portion of your tuition (regular brochure prices will be charged for the used portion) according to the table below: (For the accommodation portion, ILAC required at minimum a 2-week written notice for any changes, cancellations or postponements. Otherwise a 2 week accommodation fee will be applicable and the Homestay placement fee is not refundable).
