Why do people feel like converting to Islam

after listening to their call of prayer?

I've come across many stories and articles where people have considered or have converted to Islam after listening to the call of prayer (the Athan), I was Muslim just by name before, never followed my religion but one day after hearing the call of prayer on holiday to Abu Dhabi it really touched my heart.

I really felt that God loves us, god is quizzing us on this life, and we are the ones who make decision, we are the ones that choses heaven or hell by our work in this life.

CONVERTING TO ISLAM

Recitation with understanding of the true meaning to this sentence “la Ilaha Il-Allah,

Mohammad Rasulullah” which is known as SHAHADA, is a simple creed but has very

profound and powerful meaning in it and faith behind it bring people out of darkness into

light and life, by making this declaration and by accepting the obligation of Islamic law,

anyone can join this fastest growing religion which actually makes since and which is the

true, any person who sincerely believes that there is only one true God, worthy of worship

–ALLAH- the creator, the indescribable , the sustainer, the lord of heaven and Earth and all

Love is beautiful for making me muslim

When I was a non-Muslim my life had no meaning and my routine had no benefit for my life. I

use to be a model and I showed my body for lots of people that doesn’t have the right to, but

I was my fault and I wish I can change it or go back and let everyone know that my body is

my property and no one have the right to see it, but time passed and my moments changed.

I’m very blessed now because I have this wonderful husband which actually showed me life

and made me know why are we on Earth and what are we doing and he made me realize that

we are going through a quiz and passing this quiz will make us go to heaven, and we will

have a chance to see God and Mohammad Rasulullah (peace be upon him), this is the real

taste of happiness and love. We as a Muslim people we are very lucky because we are in the

right way, we are the ones who should be proud of their religion and their God.

We are so blessed because we have God and I wish that we are all on the right way by praying for him and we are going to heaven together.

When I first

Converted To Islam

When I first converted to Islam I had some barriers by talking

to others, by the way I should be covered or actually

(protected).

My husband (Ali) surprised me when we were coming to UAE

in the airplane he gave me the (Abaya) & (Shela) and I had to

wear them but I didn’t know how to put them on or how do I

look, but I knew that I have to put them because I’m Muslim

now on. I put them on and we reached home, we had some

problems with my husband’s family because he had to marry

his cousin but after a while everyone understood that it was

love that caused us to get married. My parents were surprised

actually.

My husband’s family doesn’t speak English but my husband

sister does. I could talk to her and make her understand me or

who I am.

His family was different I proved my love to them and to my

husband by cooking! Yes cooking it was how I proved love

and it actually worked.

Ingredients

150g self-rising flour.

1(tablespoon) baking powder.

175g (60z) unsalted butter, really soft, diced.

75g (2 and half) ground almond.

3 eggs, lightly beaten.

175g golden caster sugar.

Finely grated zest and juice of 1 unwaxed lemon.

1 (teaspoon) almond extract (optional).

250g (90z) ripe apricots stoned and sliced.

Decoration

100g golden caster sugar.

2 squeezes of lemon juice.

4 apricots stoned and halved.

3 (tablespoon) apricot jam.

1 icing sugar, to dust.

mixture and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool.

balanced diet with a variety of fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean protein, healthy fats and

low-fat dairy is the best way to ensure nail growth and health. Especially, protein and iron,

a mineral, are important to nail health. For protein sources, you can eat meat, poultry, fish

and other sources such as soy, while iron can be found in oysters, lentils and iron-fortified

cereals. Along with protein and iron, think about biotin. Biotin, a water-soluble B vitamin,

may help strengthen nails; Biotin can be found in foods such as eggs, broccoli and fish.

Tin Tips for Perfectly Polished Nails

1. Perfectly Polished Nails Tip

The most important thing you can do to have healthy, perfectly polished nails is to eat well, drink plenty of water, and take vitamins to supplement

your nutrition. Nail health and growth is directly related to nutrition and overall health. Changes in diet and poor nutrition can lead to brittle, dry,

cracked nails, or nails with dents or lines in them.


Before polishing nails, it's important to clip, file, and shape the nail, and then when finished, remove all nail dust from the nail. Rinse hands with

mild soap and warm water and then dry thoroughly before polishing.


Removing excess cuticle matter around the nail and near the nail bed will allow the polish to apply smoothly without worrying about getting polish

on hangnail matter on the sides of the nail. Using a set of nail clippers or a small pair of scissors, you can clip the cuticles back as close to the finger

as possible. DO NOT pull the hangnail cuticle loose though, as this can result in bleeding and possible infection.


Pushing back the cuticles at the nail bed, where the nail meets the fingers, will help with the shape and look of the polished nail and it will also help

your polish last longer. As nails start to grow out, there will be a line between the polish and the cuticle. If you gentle push the cuticle back before

polishing, this line will take longer to appear and allow your polish to last longer before reapplying.


Removing excess oil from the nail will help the polish 'stick' better and last longer. It's also important to soften the cuticle before pushing it back, as

in Tip #4. There are many cuticle softeners on the market, but simply soaking your fingers in a small dish of Dawn Dishwashing Detergent will not

only help remove excess oil from your fingernails, but it will also soften the cuticles for pushing them back. Just soak your entire fingertips and nail

in the liquid soap for 2-5 minutes, and then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Using a soft emery board, not a nail file, lightly buff the top and sides of the nail. Do not file or rub it, but just a very light buff to make

the nail very slightly rough. If you buff too hard, you will make the nail look rough. Lightly buffing the nail provides a nice foundation

for the polish to adhere to without causing it to appear rough.


While some will advise you to put a bottom coat or a clear coat or base coat of nail polish on the nail before you apply your color, this is not

necessary and can actually reduce the life of the color on your nails. If you've followed the tips listed above, there is no need to use a base

coat, since the nail is properly prepared to receive the colored polish.


Once you have picked your nail polish color, you now need to mix the color. Most nail polishes come with small metal balls to help mix the color

in the bottle. DO NOT shake the bottle! Shaking the bottle to mix the color will cause air bubbles to form that might leave bubble on your nail

when you use the color. Instead, hold the bottle between your hands to warm it and then roll it back and forth between your hands for a minute

or two.


When applying the color to your nails, it's important that the brush you use be clean and soft. Stiff brushes are often found in less expensive nail

polish. You need to put an ample amount of nail polish on the brush. Too little and the nail will not receive a good coating and too much and it

will be hard to keep the color only on the nail.

Generally, you will pull out the brush, wipe it on all sides of the bottle to remove as much polish as possible, and then dip the brush again, this

time swiping it against the bottle rim on one side. Then carefully turn the brush and apply the side with the polish to the nail starting

at the tip of the cuticle, dead center on the nail. In one smooth motion, swipe the brush down the center of the nail. Wait 3-5 seconds, and then

do the same on the left side of the nail, and then wait another 3-5 seconds and do the same on the right side.


Let the nail polish completely dry for at least five full minutes before adding a clear or topcoat to the nail. A polish sealer or topcoat polish

can help prevent the color from chipping and peeling. Once the topcoat has been applied, be sure to let your nails dry for another full five

minutes minimum before touching or using your hands.

Poverty is a very dangerous problem and it's causing a lot of problems

in the UAE. You will think that there is no poverty at all, but you will

wonder when you find out that there are many people who want a meal

just to satisfy their hunger. These situations will make everyone move

and want to help, and just save money to give these needy people.

These situations showed us a person who saw a lot of breaking heart

things, and problems that faced a lot of families; this person is "Um

Ala'a". Um Ala'a is a woman, who started her volunteer works and charity

by herself, and today we had an interview with her to know more about

what she's doing.

charity work?

I started my charity work in

Ramadan, I was in Al sheikh Amna

center for memorizing Qur'an and

the idea came to my mind and I

decided to start helping people as

much as I can. I started with the

families that I know and I started to

look for people who need help.

Have you worked with any

organization to help people?

No I'm not working with any

organization, I'm just contacting the

red crescent to help the people that

I want to help, because sometimes I

can't help them with my own, So I'm

the one who needs help at that time.

What are the problems that you had

with the Red Crescent?

I had an important problem which is the donations

are not enough for a lot of families, for example a lot

of people are falsifying papers to get money, but

actually the don't need it at all, and another

problem, some families are made up of 10

members or more and the Red Crescent gives them

1500 each for 6 or 8 months. Of course this amount

of money isn't enough for them. That's why I'm

trying to collect the money for them, or contacting

the Red Crescent to help them more. I'm trying as

much as I can to help them, for an instance, I use my

car to carry food, furniture, or anything that the

families would need.

Once I was carrying food and I found

a woman who need it and I stopped

food" I heard her and I started to cry,

and when I remember this story, I

cry again (Laughing).

Does anyone help you?

There was a woman who was helping

me but she stopped because it's hard

for her and it needs a lot of money,

and I'm afraid to become like her

because my car has become

inoperative and I'm depending too

much on it for carrying things and

food.

Have you helped any family,

and that family became self-

sufficient?

Actually I helped a lot of

families but they didn't

become rich. Their

financial state became

much much better.
