Clark Middle School in St. John. • Graduated from Adrian College in 1988. • 2010 Hoosier Educator of the Year which recognizes, rewards and pro motes excellence in teaching and advocacy for the education profession. • Lake Central Teacher’s Association Co-President • The National Junior Honor Society Sponsor • Bob is the boys cross-country and track coach and the girls assistant track coach. • Bob lives with his wife, Letitia and their three children in St. John. Mike McAran Superintendent of Tecumseh Schools: Serving over 2,900 students • Graduated from Adrian College in 1966 majoring in English and History. • Mike is concluding his 47 year career in education as he will retire following this school year. • From 1976 to 1983 he was assistant high school principal and athletic director for Tecumseh. • He returned to Tecumseh in 1998 as middle school principal and was ap pointed Superintendent in 2005. • He quickly entered the field of education, with his career spanning over 45 years of service in Detroit, Tecumseh and Sand Creek. Most recently, he has served as superintendent for Tecumseh Public Schools and is planning to retire after the 2012-13 academic year. { } The Adrian College Teacher Education Program, which is designed to empower competent, caring, creative, and committed educators who will demonstrate the Ribbons of Excellence, is granted National Accreditation by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC). This accreditation certifies that the forenamed professional education program has provided evidence that the program adheres to TEAC’s quality principles. www.teac.org
