Richard Hoffman
Thank you Richard Hoffman.
Richard assembled a new dolly /
hand truck that was acquires to
replace an aged and failing dolly
used by the ISA team.
Though this task seems miniscule
and petty, Richards efforts
increase productivity as we are
able to move more report card
paper at one time than before.
It also increase our security as the
old dolly was failing and unstable

Application Access
Information Services and Applications (ISA)
Posted by April 18, 2017
When an unexpected disruption in
service cut off access to key
CFISD apps, Oscar Villar, Eric
May and John Crumbley met to
discuss to discuss alternatives
access avenues that would restore
access to eSchoolPLUS and
Teacher Access Center (TAC).
It was critical to provide access to
these applications as quickly as
possible. Working with other key
people in the technology
department, temporary access
was provided. The initial problem
was resolved within 36 hours.
Wonderful Job!!!

Norma Blenderman and Patricia
Maldonado are working on the
response to the federal Civil Rights
Data Collection (CRDC) audit.
Once the data is collected, it is
uploaded to the federal system for
analysis. Norma completed the
initial upload on Thursday, April
21.2017. This is the first major
milestone in properly reporting all
required data.
Using OnDataSuite (ODS) makes
CRDC reporting EASY!

It has been a busy week for the PEIMS team!
We have been focusing on registrar training, elementary report cards, CRDC reporting, and summer PEIMS. It is a joy to work with people who are good team players and are selfless in their dedication to the job!
I spent this week at the TSUN conference networking with other PEIMS users. We learned about the new reporting requirements for TSDS PEIMS.

My thoughts this week were focused on making
the job of high school registrars easier. This was
done by moving the mock rank graduation line up
process from the “live” database to a test
database. This change makes it possible for
registrars to process GPA calculations and
graduation and not make changes within the live
environment. Because the process was moved to
the test database, registrars can continue to
process transcripts and take as much time as they
need to update the graduation line-up.

This week at the DLT Dr. Mark Henry
discussed the promotion of public schools.
It made me reflect on how amazing our
district staff and students are. I can’t
imagine what this country would look like if
we did not have this level of public
education and leaders. I am so grateful to
be apart of the best district in the state of
Texas.
