Technologies
• I used a range of technologies to create my final magazine piece. These include– Photoshop
– Befunky
– Fontspace
– A digital camera
• I believe that these products all contributed to helping me to create an effective and conventional magazine.
Befunky
• I used befunky for the most part to edit all of the photographs in my production.
• I used befunky because it was easy to use and it allowed me to create conventional effects that appeal to the target audience.
• Befunky allowed me to place an indie spin on photos and it also allowed me to correct the blur on one of the photographs that I took.

Photoshop
• Photoshop was the tool which I used to compile the pictures and text to make a conventional magazine.
• I used photoshop because I have had some previous experience with photoshop and the layers allowed me to place items in the correct place without disturbing other items.
• It also allowed me to create a conventional looking magazine with the correct size format to suit a magazine.

Fontspace
• Fontspace gave me access to their huge library of fonts.
• This allowed me to find a font that perfectly suited the genre of my magazine, adding a conventional and professional effect.
• I used fontspace purely for the huge variety of fonts and ease of access. It allowed me to find an extremely conventional masthead and coverline font.
Digital Camera
• My digital camera allowed me to take high definition photographs of my models in a variety of outdoors and unconventional settings.
• I used a digital camera because of the portability, ease of use and high quality.
• Indie magazines traditionally depict their artists in outdoors or obscure settings. The portability allowed me to replicate this in high quality.
