Technologies I used during the research stage.

I used office products such as Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint at points in my research, to write essays, and make presentations. They are easy to use, and make things look very professional.

I used Google to research any details INeeded, things like what cinema verite was,And researching different documentaries,Like Night mail, and au Chien Andalou. Its quick and easy to use, and gives me mixed, unbiased results.

I used slide share for any presentations IUsed it as a way to make my blog lookProfessional, as the documents are Integrated into the blog. I could have used Google Docks, but I decided slideshare would be better, as I have an account and have used it before.

I used Wordpress as a blogging site to showcase my work, including the final piece and evaluations. This site is clear, simple and effective, it does the job very well, and shows instantly what I add into the blog. It is also very easy to integrate my work on word, or PowerPoint into the blog.

I used Wordpress to showcase my planning and pre-production work. Similarly to in my research, I used it because it is a very clear, professional format in which to showcase the work, as well as being extremely easy to use.

I used YouTube in one of the character descriptions, for Ben Pipes. This was because it was showing off more skills then just writing the description on the blog, I feel that a video of Ben is a better, more proficient way to show the audience his description.

I used Celtx to write both drafts, and the final script for the documentary, as well as for the shot list,Prop list, and character descriptions. I feel that Celtx is better thanJust using Microsoft word to write out the scripts, as it is designed Around the functions of making a film.

I used Google to search information, and get pictures about Ben, Darius and Koko the three stars of the documentary. It was a very effective technology to search for the required information very quickly and easily.

I used Excel and word within office in my planning,Excel for the shooting schedule, and word for mostOther things. They are both technologies I know how to use, and are established, well knows program's.

I used a Nikon D3000 during the planning stage to do a location wrecky. I used this camera as it is a top quality camera that I know how to use through my photography course. This camera meant I could zoom, and focus more proficiently then if I used a hand held camera.

I used Wordpress to showcase each individual part of my footage, including practice shots, and it is where I placed my scripts and plans. I used it as I can embed videos directly from YouTube, professional and proficient use of technology.

I used Final Cut express to edit my documentary. This is a near professional standard software, and so was perfect for the use I needed.

I used a Nikon D3000 to film my documentaryAnd a tripod to film on, this was to keep the shots stable, while using a camera whichhad the ability for good quality shots. Aswell as for proficient zooming, and focusing lenses.

Within the evaluation stage I used slide share to add any power points I have made for the evaluation. This is so I can embed the documents, making my blog much more professional.

I used a Nikon D3000 to film a focus group, so that I could get audience feedback on my work, and use that to evaluate the documentary I have made, this camera is of a good quality, which is why I chose to use it.

I used Garage band to record audio to put over the focus group I filmed, as well as for my evaluation of the codes and conventions within the documentary. This program is much better, and more detailed than mostOthers, also it allows for easy editing.

I have used YouTube as a method of getting my evaluations and film onto my blog, I uploaded them, and then embedded the link onto the blog. This makes my blog look professional, and also allows for a quick upload to the web.

I have used Wordpress to blog, and showcase my evaluation. I chose wordpressBecause of its simple layout, and simple design customizability, where I couldEdit everything to make it look professional, as well as work well to showcase the work I have uploaded.
