Music Devices.

• There are many devices that can play and store music, such as phones, game consoles like Xbox, and also iPods.

• These devices also have other functions, for example you can go on the internet on phones and through game consoles these days, so you can also watch movies on them as well.

• I think these devices are examples of technological convergence as the world-wide companies who manufacture them are constantly adapting them to change them into modern technology, for everybody to use.

Music Devices cont.

• There are many ways that you listen to music using these devices. For example, you can easily download music off of the internet & itunes, legally & illegally. You can also watch & listen to music it on YouTube and live stream tracks.

• Websites that offer music for these devices include, for example, on the itunes store. And you can also convert YouTube videos into mp3 tracks for your iPod/Mp3 player.

• For legal downloading you do have to pay for the tracks you download, but they are usually no more than £1, for example on itunes most tracks are 75p.

• Looking at these devices I have researched, I do own most of them, for example, an iPod, phone and a games console. I like all of these things, mainly for the music and also the internet to communicate with people.
