Couture from a can

• Since 1995 the Spanish fashion designer Manuel Torres is working on a new way of producing textiles in the future

• textile can be easily sprayed onto the body or any other surface

Electricity Generating Textiles

• electricity by weaving tiny wires into a

garment

• wires produce power by being rustled,

stretched or ruffled by a light breeze

• normal fibers of a garment are covered

with nanowires which are made out of zinc

oxide
