What is Full System High Availability?
Full system High Availability (FSHA) protects your
mission critical Windows based servers by providing
asynchronous continuous replication, while providing
host/application service monitoring with automatic or
pushbutton automated failover to a supported
hypervisor platform
Full System HA protects practically any supported
Windows-based server and its installed applications

Solution Overview
Cost effective business continuity for critical Windows hosts and their applications
Continuous replication enables near-instant recovery of business applications, with a near zero RPO and fast RTO
Protects Exchange, SQL, IIS, SharePoint, File Server, Oracle, Blackberry, and guest VMs on vSphere, Hyper-V, XenServer
Automated DR testing and/or push-button fail-over, fail-back
Supports P2V, cross-hypervisor V2V and provides V2V or V2P for bare metal recovery
Snapshot based Data rewind capability, for CDP
Supports DAS, SAN, NAS storage
Centralized mgmt. & reporting

Solution Overview
HEARTBEATMONITORING
Physical to virtual (P2V) migration

Solution Overview
Simplify & accelerate physical to virtual migrations
Automate physical to virtual server migration to local, remote, and cloud
Full system replication makes it quick & easy to seamlessly migrate Windows-based servers
Replicate from old to new, regardless of vendor, class of system, type of processor, virtual volume size (e.g. VHD to VHDX)
Non-disruptive process to avoid business downtime! Users remain active until the actual migration takes place
Push-button failover, for instant deployment

Solution Overview
Reduce disaster recovery testing costs & simplify regulatory compliance
Patented Technology
Enables automated disaster recovery testing of business-critical systems, applications & data, on a separate, replica server
Non-disruptive process avoids business downtime and impact to production systems
Recovery testing can be fully automated performed on a scheduled basis, or ad-hoc testing as needed
Assured Recovery reporting provides evidence of system recoverability for compliance auditors

Full System HA or Remote Virtual Standby?
10
Full System HA
A true ‘failover’ solutionZero RPO and a fast RTOProvides heartbeat over WAN,
and public internetRelies on asynchronous and
continuous replicationLess storage overheadOffers cascade replication and
failover protection, ABCDProvides failover to cloudReplica is active during BMROffers live migration
Remote Virtual Standby
Is a ‘stand-in’ from backup solution
RPO is greater than zero, relies on recovery point from last backup
Local LAN/vLAN heartbeat, no heartbeat over NAT
Greater storage requirements
No active host during BMR, requires scheduled downtime to reduce RPO
Offers only point in time migration

Manage and deploy HA, from within the UDP console Protects servers more easily, as no need to configure replica
servers Eliminates the need to manage OS & Application updates,
hotfixes etc. Supports switchover to more than one replica with cascading
scenarios to local, remote and/or cloud Provides bare metal recovery (BMR) without requiring
scheduled downtime Preserves existing disk volumes Supports recovery to same or dissimilar hardware, or to a VM Provides an easy way to upgrade hardware, or to migrate
physical or virtual Windows Servers
