OVERVIEWStudio2isafullyflexibleblackboxspacethatcanbeusedforavarietyofperformances.Withavariablecapacity,thisspaceisidealforlargerprojectsincludinglivemusic,plays,musicaltheatre,corporateevents,live-streamandbroadcast.SEATINGStudio2hasanendonseatingbankof450seats.Thiscanalsobereconfiguredtoallowforincreasedcapacityto500seatsorfullydismantled.Thisvenuecanaccommodatewheelchairshowevercapacitymayfluctuate.PLEASENOTE:DuringtheCOVID-19Pandemic,seatingcapacityisreducedtoamaximum152withsocialdistancemitigationineffect.THESTAGEThestandardtheatreperformancesetupincludesa600mmhighsteeldeckstagewithaplayingspaceof10.8mwideby6mdeep.Thereisasetofblacklegsandborderatthefrontofthestageandmaskingflatstocreatewings.Thetotalusablespacesizetoaccommodatefilmingwhenthestudioemptyis16mx22mexcludingmandatoryfireroutingaroundtheperimeter.PleasespeakwiththeTechnicalManagementteamtodiscussstageconfigurationsandotherpossibilitiesinthevenue.SUSPENSION&RIGGINGTheheightofthevenueis8.3mfromstudiofloortotheriggingpoints.Thestandardsetupinthevenueissixtrussbarshungon500kgmotorsinthevenuethatcanbeflowninandoutindependentlyduringrigging.Eachtrusslinecansupport250kgevenlydistributedacrossthebar.LivetrussflyingduringaperformanceisNOTpossible.TherearevariousotherriggingpointsintheceilingthatcanbemadeavailableandonlyusedwithRiversideTechnicalManagementteampermission.AllriggingequipmentinthevenuemustbeoperatedandsupervisedbyRiversideStudiosTechnicalTeam.ForfurtherinformationonriggingequipmentpleaseseeAppendixAandcontactTechnical@Riversidestudios.co.ukforacurrentplan.LIGHTINGThelightingandsoundcontrolpositionsarelocatedattherearoftheauditoriumoverlookingthestage.ItispossibleforonepersontooperatebothLightingandSound.Ageneralcoveroffront,back,topandsidelightcanbeprovidedinthevenue.Blackoutonstageisacceptable,howeverabsoluteblackoutisnotpossibleduetoemergencylightingregulations.CONTROL:ETCGeo@54kPOWERDITRIBUTION:234x2.5kwdimmers(canbeswitchedtonon-dim)56x5kwdimmers(canbeswitchedtonon-dim)2x32amp3phasesockets(Floorlevel)2x64amp3phasesockets(Floorlevel)1x125amp3phasesocket(SceneDock)Allthedimmersaredistributedaroundthestudiotowallboxesonbothsocapexand16ampconnections(layoutplanuponrequest).

ACCESSStudio2islocatedonthegroundfloorofRiversideStudiosandcanbeaccessedviathemainbuildingentrance.AcoveredloadingbayislocatedonCrispRoadandcapableofreceivingarticulatedtrucks.ThisareaissharedbetweenallRiversideStudiovenuesandthereisnoaccommodationforshortorlongtermparking.Duetolicensingrestrictions,noloadinginoroutofthebuildingispermittedbefore0800hrsorafter2200hrsunlessithasbeenarrangedinadvancewiththeRiversideStudiosTechnicalManagementTeam.STAFFRiversideStudiosdonot,asstandard,providetechnicaloperatorsforperformances.IfyourequireanoperatorpleaseemailtheTechnicalManagementteamandwecanputyouintouchwithatechniciantosuityourneedsdependingonyourrequirements.NOTESAnypracticalelectricalequipmentyouwishtouseorbringinmusthaveavalidPATcertificateandbeclearedwiththeRiversideStudiosTechnicalManagementTeaminadvance.TheRiversideStudiosTechnicalManagementteamalsoreservestherighttorefusetheuseofanytechnical,practicalorconstructionequipmentwhichisdeemedtobeunsafe.Allsetandpropitemsmustbemadeflameretardantbeforebeingusedorstoredinanyofourvenues.COVID-19RESTRICTIONSPleasenoteallvisitingcompaniesarerequiredtoenterandexitthevenuethroughthemainbuildingentranceandsigninatreceptionwheretheywillreceiveatemperaturecheck.Masksmustbeworkatalltimeswhentravellingaroundthebuildingandonemetreplussocialdistancingmustbeobservedatalltimes.Handsanitizingstationsaresetupinallhightrafficareasforyouruseandconvenience.ForfurtherdetailedinformationregardingthevenuepleasecontacttheRiversideStudiosTechnicalManagementTeam–[email protected]
