Description

Functional Description

ReSound ESSENCE is a strong new family of hearing instruments. With the capability to compensate for mild to severe hearing losses and state of the art technology in its clase, the ReSound ESSENCE BTE is able to offer excellent hearing solutions.

ReSound ESSENCE is based on the latest chip technology and offers a surprisingly great package for any budgets without compromising quality or benefits. The instrument provides outstanding sound processing and quality as well as better speech understanding with the very fast WARP system, Noise reduction and a fixed Directionality. The strong ReSound DFS system also cancels out feedback and allows for more stability and power. Additionally, with the standard BTE model (ES70) there is the option of Open Fitting to allow more comfort and easier fitting. Overall, ReSound ESSENCE offers a simply surprising product feature set for better sound quality and more comfort.

HI Disassembly

Pull out the ear hook from HSG Open batt door about halfway. Hold and grip the door tight on both sides and lift off door from HI

Release HSG by pushing the small plastic part as shown

Squeeze to grip

Lift off batt door

Slowly separate the housing

When separating HSG the batt door lock may come off. Be careful not to loose this plastic part

De-solder the rec rec wires. Carefully separate the housing parts

Replacing Microphones

Wire lengths on both mics:- Red 11mm- Green 11mm- Yellow 11mm

Note: Apply coating on solder pads after soldering

Replacing Receiver Module & Telecoil

Note: Apply coating material on solder pads after soldering

Remove defective telecoil and place the new coil onto white frame as shown. Use rubber glue to keep in place

De-solder the receiver connection as shown and replace with a new receiver module

Replacing Battery Springs, VC & AI-module

Note: Apply coating material on solder pads after soldering

VC terminals

Unscrew the VC nut. Remove solder from VC terminals to exchange the VC

(+) & (-) spring are similar

To remove AI module desolder the 4 terminals
