Application Characteristics
Mix Ratio:
Brush Use: The product may be used unreduced or reduced as desired when using the brush.
Simply shake the can of enclosed CARC material prior to use for approximately one minute or until
fully mixed, unscrew the cap and utilize one of the included brushes to apply the coating (if
reduction is desired follow the spray application guidelines for mixing prior to use). When finished
simply re-cap any remaining material with the original cap or the cap and brush combination. Note: an additional brush is included should the first one become hard or unusable for any reason. Spray Application: Start by shaking the enclosed CARC material for approximately one minute
prior to use then simply unscrew the cap from the CARC container and the enclosed solvent
container and simply add the two components to the enclosed Preval® bottle. Add the enclosed cap
and shake the combined material for approximately one minute or until completely blended. Screw
the bottle of mixed material to the Preval® power head and you are ready to spray! NOTE: SPRAY APPLICATION IS ONLY RECOMMENDED IN WELL VENTILATED AREAS SUCH AS
A CONTROLLED SPRAY BOOTH! ALL RECOMMENDED LOCAL PPE REQUIREMENTS SHOULD BE
FOLLOWED! PLEASE REFER TO THE ENCLOSED MSDS SHEETS FOR FURTHER INFORMATION

Cleaning
Solvent: Any Urethane Grade Solvent may be utilized for clean-up. NOTE: ONLY USE THE ENCLOSED T-414 SOLVENT TO REDUCE THE CARC PRODUCT (this will maintain product VOC and HAPS).
Pot Life:
12-months un-opened. Once opened CARC begins to react with the moisture in the air so it is highly
recommend that the product be utilized within an 8 hour period. For brush application the coating
life may be extended by tightly resealing the can of any unused remaining material, however
individual environmental conditions may affect the products long term stability once opened. DynaSpec Smart Touch™ kits allow for the use of all of the material as any remaining liquid paint can be
easily utilized by plant production in normal day to day spray booths eliminating liquid waste.
Dry Times: Touch: 30 minutes Recoat: Anytime Handle: 3 hrs Pack/Ship: 4 hrs
Force Cure: This product can be force cured for approximately 30 minutes at 180o F after a 20-30 minute flash off
time (product mass dependent).

preparing a substrate for painting. At a minimum the surface should be clean of all grease, dirt, oil, rust and foreign material that
would be detrimental to proper adhesion and desired performance of the coating system being applied.
