The first and second day (May 6 & 7, 2015) of this year’s Tech in Asia Confer-ence, Singapore took place at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre with many exciting new initiatives that delivered on its promise of making the event bigger and better. Drones were flying in the air, discussions were candid and refreshing, and attendees were mingling in every corner of the venue. The conference saw keynote speeches and fireside chats by internationally acclaimed speakers on all things tech related.

Over at Bootstrap Alley, over 100 startups were on display to showcase their ideas and pitch to investors. These included winners from the Tech in Asia tour that took place in March this year across 10 Asian countries.

At the Startup Investor Speed Dating and Office Hours session, where one could speak face-to-face with investors and top-tech firms, including Fenox Venture Capital, a seemingly endless line of attendees formed a queue for the highly popular initiatives. The main stage returned to life with guest speaker Anis Uzzaman, General Partner and CEO at Fenox Venture Capital Inc. delivering his keynote speech on what’s hot in Silicon Valley (https://www.techinasia.com/internet-of-things-trends-asia/).

In 2015, the number of IoT devices grew to 18.2 billion, from 14.2billion in 2014. This number is expected to hit a massive 50.1 billion by the year 2020. Wearables and Health IT are also amongst the biggest trends in Silicon Valley right now, with huge areas of potential amongst industry workers. Addition-ally, the manufacturing industry is teed up to benefit from IoT, and the possibilities for IoT aiding retail businesses are nearly limitless. The incredible two days of Tech in Asia Singapore 2015 were great success offering abundance of opportunities that we hope to leverage along with your support.
