What the team is..
A team is 2 or more people, interacting interdependently to achieve a common goal.
Essential Roles in a team
Coordinator Plant Resource investigator Implementer Completer Monitor evaluator Team worker Specialist
Coordinator
The coordinator has a clear view of the team objectives and goal.
Confident , mature and can summarize the view
Resource Investigator
Has many contacts with many useful people Knows whom to ask for help and support when
needed Brings info from outside
Completer
The completer is very aware of the deadline Sticks to the deadline and reminds the team
with it constantly Encourages the team to take immediate actions
and start tasks ahead
Monitor Evaluator
The monitor evaluator sees all chances and opportunities lying ahead
He is over critical Judges accurately
Team Worker
The team worker is usually a sensitive friendly member of the team & very aware of everyone's feelings
Supportive to the team and their efforts Usually he reduces and resolves conflicts
between the members
Team Members
They have to be initiative To listen, feedback and interact in team
meetings -sharing- Supportive & Caring for partners Trust their partners Influencing, Respecting, Flexible Encouraging others' development

Decisions shall be made by everyone's involvement
Evaluation of ideas not emotional -SWOT- Goals shall be clear before any decision
making Seeking creative ideas constantly Goals must be SMART Opposing opinions must be written down for
future referal

He sees all problems with no solution He can be demotivating

-Give him a chance to save face

Aggressive & Provocative

-Be friendly, don't argue, stand up for yourself & keep a good eye contact
-Prepare ahead, stay calm

-Ask him to restate his views
-Help him save face & talk to him alone about it later

Manipulates others for personal gain Uses guilt and looking weak to get people to

He looks for team members' faults all the time

-Ask him for specific faults, no general talks
-Listen to him carefully
