QUESTION FOR DISCUSSION

What is the purpose of a team?

Page 3: Team Task

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A TEAM? To combine the minds, knowledge, experience

and personalities of different people. If the correct combination is achieved and the

focus of their purpose is defined clearly, it provides a framework in which all aspects of the organisational, planning, problem solving and decision making can be achieved more effectively.

Because all members of the team are involved in all aspects of the process, a better understanding of the processes is achieved and a shared responsibility for the outcomes - ownership
