Community support is a key ingredient in patient success. A Fundraising event co-sponsored by Budweiser and 5 Canadian Geese consulting, is planned for Sunday, March 16 th at Paninis Bar & Grille on Detroit Road in Westlake. From 2:00 4:00 p.m., participants will experience Music and Entertainment provided by DJ Johnny, and enjoy unlimited Pizza, Pasta, and Pretzel Bites. The event benefits Stephen Carey, a recent Rocky River High School graduate who is battling Hodgkin Lymphoma. The event was announced on February 4 th , World Cancer Awareness Day. Dr. Greg Warren, Steven’s treating Medical Oncologist, believes that community support is a key ingredient in helping patients battle the disease. “Without the support of his family, friends, and community the treatment process can be unbearable.” Dr. Warren also said that Stephen is currently doing well with his treatment, and is a true fighter. “It’s great to see the support of Team Stephen for this worthy young man.” Tickets are $20.00 per person if purchased in advance, or $25 at the door.
