STORMING

During the Storming stage team members:

1. Realize that the task is more difficult than they imagined;2. Have fluctuations in attitude about chances of

success; 3. May be resistant to the task; and, 4. Have poor collaboration


NORMING

During this stage members accept:their team;team rules and procedures;their roles in the team; and,the individuality of fellow members.


PERFORMING

NOW Team members have:Gained insight into personal and team processes;A better understanding of each other’s strengths and weaknesses;Gained the ability to prevent or work through group conflict and resolve differences; and,Developed a close attachment to the team.

Paper Tower ProjectTask:• A Paper tower is to be built by each team as

per given set of rules and resources by the trainer.

Time: • 25 minutes to build the tower, 3 Minutes to fill

Feedback/Learning form of the project & 2 minutes for presentation.

Presentation:• One member from each team to present the

learning from the project.

How do Teams Work Best?

• Commitment to common objectives;• Defined roles and responsibilities;• Effective decision systems,

communication and work procedures; and,• Good personal relationships.


Roles & Responsibilities in a TEAMTask:• All Participant will read the small story

written on the next Slide.Time: • They will discuss the story for 5 minutes

within the team and will find out the relevance of the story.

Presentation:• One member from each team to present the

findings of their team within 1 min.

Everybody, Somebody, Anybody & Nobody

This is a story about for people named everybody, somebody, anybody and nobody. There was an

important job to be done and everybody was sure that somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it but nobody did it. Somebody got angry

about that because it was everybody’s job. Everybody thought anybody could do it but nobody realized that everybody wont do it. It ended up that

everybody blamed somebody when nobody did what anybody could have done.
