The boys are back in town!!

And ready for the fourth edition of the Historic Grand Prix 2015!!

This years edition has an incredible 11 championships coming over to the circuit in the Dunes. 

History will be repeated with beautiful Formula, Sports and GT cars. On Friday most of the 

qualifications will be completed. Saturday and Sunday are totally packed with an amazing 19 

races in total!

Contained in this document information about the Historic Grand Prix 2015. Read this document 

very thoroughly so there won’t be any surprises. And if you have any questions, please do not 

hesitate to ask.

Some wise word to begin with: 

The cars we drive have few inherent safety features. Accidents not only 

destroy originality but also put at risk the concessions under which we are 

allowed to race. Racecar drivers are therefore required to drive in a sportsmanlike and considerate

fashion, in particular avoiding contact and not indulging in aggressive driving tactics.

Free track exploration with road cars, 27th of August 2015

Because most of the championships have no free practice at the Historic 

Grand Prix, all competitors are hereby offered to join the free track exploration 

sessions on Thursday the 27th of August. To enter these sessions, please be aware of the following 

rules:

• Grand Prix circuit layout, it is strictly forbidden to use the National corner or Clubs corner

• Maximum of 2 persons per car

• Only available for drivers of the Historic Grand Prix 2015

• 1 session per competitor

• Maximum 80 kph (checked by laserguns)

Routing

• At the licence check / collection of documents in Paddock Office (parking C), there is one desk especially for the track exploration wrist bands.

• After showing your licence and signing the waiver of recourse you will receive a wristband that allows you to enter the paddock and track with a road car.

• You will receive a wrist band for 1 of the 3 session (3 different colors).

• Your wristband will be checked when entering the paddock and when entering the track.

• There will be a maximum of 70 cars per session.

• All cars enter the track through box 0 at the beginning of the pit lane.

• All cars leave the track through the gate at the Arie Luyendyk corner (last corner of the track before the main straight)

Session 1 17:00 – 17:30 ORANGE session

Session 2 17:40 – 18:10 PURPLE session

Session 3 18:20 – 18:50 PINK session

Scrutineering

See Timing. Make sure all relevant documents are with the car as well as the 

drivers clothing conform to Appendix L FIA Sporting Code. The location of the 

safety checks is different for every championship, see timing for locations. 

Drivers Briefing

Mandatory! For time, see detailed time schedule. Location: Media Centre, above pit garage 0 (first 

Stairs behind pit garages). 

Supplementary Regulations

Will be send to the teams in a separate mail and will be in the drivers envelope at collection of 

documents / licence control. 

Garages

Only available for FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship and FIA Historic Formula 1 

Championship. Pit Garage allocation available at your championship coordinator. 

Petrol and Diesel

Available at the Tango Paddock, NO CASH, pin and Mastercard only. Special fuel for Masters Series 

is available at Paddock 2 at Anglo American Oil Company.

TimekeepingTransponders are available at license check / collection of documents, Parking C, Paddock office(Parking next to BMW Driving Experience). Thursday 15:00 – 21:00 and Friday 07:30 – 09:00. € 50,‐deposit. 

Testing Day

On the 13th of August there will be an open pitlane testing day. Maximum 95 dB(A) measures with 

the microphone located in the Arie Luyendyk Corner. More information:

TicketsAll teams will receive the entry tickets in the drivers envelope at the collection of documents / license control. Paddock Parking Tickets are only available through your championship coordinator. Teams will not receive the Paddock Parking Tickets in their envelope at licence check. Paddock Parkings are only available for support vehicles, no personal cars are allowed on the paddock. 

Team tents and hospitalities

Teams are allowed to break down their tents and hospitalities from Sunday the 30st of August  

16:30 o’clock. All trailers, hospitalities and tents must be removed from the paddock on Monday 

the 31st of August 13:00 o’clock.

Tudor stickersAll competitors / race cars will receive 2 stickers from our sponsor Tudor. Touring cars must carry the stickers on both doors, formula cars must carry the Tudor sticker on the nose of the car. Stickers will be available at licence check / collection of documents.

Paddock and arriving timesTrucks and trailers over 3.30 meters must enter the paddock through Parking C. Tucks and trailers under 3.30 meter can enter the paddock through the main entrance. Note: NK GTTC trailers can all enter through the main gate as they are located at Parking B. See maps at the end of this document. 

Arrival times:   Thursday the 27th of August: 09:00 – 17:00 and 19:00 – 22:00 o’clock.

Only race cars on the paddockOnly race cars are allowed on the paddocks. Personal cars can be parked at parking A (behind Grand Stand). Car trailers must be moved from the paddock and can be parked at Parking C. Competitors entering the paddock with a trailer need to pay a deposit of € 50,‐ on arrival. Refund when trailer is parked at Parking C within 2 hours. 

Invitation welcome cocktailThe Historic Grand Prix Organisation would be honored by your presence at the Paddock Club for a welcome drink on Friday. All drivers are invited! Please find your invitation in your envelope at licence check.

Grand Prix Parade to the center of Zandvoort 29‐08‐2015

The organization of the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort invites all the drivers to participate in the Grand Prix Parade at Saturday the 29th of August 2015.

With this parade we go back to the old days of Formula 1 when the cars would be parked overnight in Zandvoort town. 

Line up at 18:45 o’clock on the main straight of the circuit. The parade will leave at 19:00 o’clock to the center of Zandvoort. The group will return to the circuit around 20:30, accompanied by rescue marshals. 

The cars will be parked in the center of town which will be closed to other traffic. Participation is open to all competitors of the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort with their race cars.

Paddock Regulations I

Environmental regulations

Gas

• Gas cylinders may not be placed close to inflammables.

• Gas cylinders may not be placed in the open air.

• Gas cylinders must be secured to prevent them from falling over and being driven into.

• A battery of gas cylinders may only include a maximum of five cylinders.

Inflammables

• Fuel and oil cans must be secured to prevent them from falling over and being driven into.

• Fuel and oil cans must be placed in a drip tray in which the content of the cans can be caught when a leak occurs!

• Fuel and oil cans may not be placed in areas accessible to the general public.

• Fuel and oil cans may not be placed in the open air.

• Fluid storage barrels must carry an adequate indication of the fluid they contain.

Re‐fuelling

• During re‐fuelling of the car, a large‐sized drip cloth must be placed underneath the car and the re‐fuelling system.

• Pouring of fluids from one can into another may only be done in a drip tray.

• Re‐fueling is only allowed in the presence of two fire extinguishers

Water

• Waste water may only be disposed off in a drain and may not be disposed in the paddock.

• Cleaning of cars or other objects in the paddock is not allowed.

Waste

• Any waste must be disposed of in designated waste bins.

• Waste oil must be disposed of separately in designated oil containers. Oil barrels may by no means be left behind in the paddock. 

Fire prevention requirements

Approval

• In case that more than 25 persons are present in an awning, an application for an approval of “fire proof use” has to be made to the Zandvoort fire brigade. 

• In every awning, there must be sufficient extinguishing material in order to be able to extinguish a major fire.

Paddock Regulations II

Parking

• Parking, at any time, must be done within the white lines in the paddock. 

• Exit gates etc. must be kept free and may not be blocked by vehicles or other obstacles.

• No scooters, cars or any other objects may be placed in front of the stairways towards the VIP gallery.

Paddock

Traffic

• The maximum speed for any vehicle in the paddock is walking speed.

• The minimum age of a driver of a vehivle is 16 years

Asphalt

• No holes or slides may be made into the asphalt. For any hole that is being drilled, the person responsible will be given a fine of 50 Euros.

Pit garages

• Upon departure, no waste or stickers may be left behind in the pit garage. In case of non‐compliance, the deposit will not be returned or a fine will be imposed.

Drones

• It is strictly prohibited to make use of a drone without permission of the circuit media coordinator. 

Sampling/distribution of flyers

• Sampling and distribution of flyers without approval by the circuit management is prohibited.
