Reception had a fantastic time soaking the playground with the fireman’s hose when West Midlands Fire Service came to visit.

In Science this term, our Year 6 pupils performed a heart dissection to understand more about the respiratory system. They acted with both precision and care during the whole procedure! We most certainly have heart surgeons of the future in our school!

Class 5 became ‘Master Chefs’ when, as part of their Design and Technology, they cooked up a seasonal vegetable soup. Soup has many healthy benefits which is why it is served at soup kitchens across the country. A soup kitchen is a place where free food is served to those who are homeless. Soup kitchens depend on volunteers, particularly at this time of year, so please contact your local one (Dudley) if you’d like to know how you can help.

Year 6 faced some real challenges when they scaled new heights, navigated through confined spaces and over-came their fears during their visit to the

On Tuesday 3rd December, the school hall was magically transformed into a glittering display of singing, dancing and laughter as the children experienced a performance of the classic 18th century fairy tale, ‘Beauty and the Beast’. This ‘tale as old as time’, swept the children into an enchanted world.

Nursery enjoyed a magical morning with the City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

As Santa’s special helpers, the children enjoyed festive tunes performed by the string section, as well as stories, craft activities and lots of singing and dancing.

Our library was transformed when Santa found time in his very busy schedule to visit all of the boys and girls at Blowers Green! He was astounded by the children’s super manners and can’t wait to return again next year!

Santa Two merry blue eyes and very little nose,

A long snowy beard and cheeks like a rose, A round chubby man and a big bulging sack, Hurrah for Santa, we're glad he's come back!

We’re sure you’ll agree that Nursery, Recep on, Year 1 and Year 2 were ‘out of this world’ with their performance of Christmas with the Aliens! They certainly showed that they are all real stars! Thank you to everyone who helped

A turning tombola, festive face painting, Christmas cupcakes, spicy samosas and a fruity chocolate fountain are just a snapshot of the

wonderful contributions made by the staff, children and families of Blowers Green for our Winter Fayre! Thank you to everyone who either contributed

or came along to support us! It was a huge success! Every penny raised contributes to supporting and enriching the school life of our children!

Our ‰inal word goes to our School Councillors who have been particularly busy this term helping to engage sta‰‰ and pupils at Blowers Green in ‰undraising activities.

On the 12th November we encouraged everyone at Blowers Green to wear odd socks! It was a great way to highlight Anti-Bullying Week and celebrate what makes us all unique! The theme of Anti-Bullying Week was 'Change Starts With Us', which encourages us all to make small changes to

create a safe environment for everyone.

Reported by The Blowers Green School Council.

We all ‘got together’ this year for Pudsey Day to help raise money for Children in Need. Making posters, dressing up or decorating ourselves

with something spotty was a really fun way to promote and raise money for such a good cause.
