Projects Energy Policy & Strategy We can work with you to develop and compose your energy policy and strategy. This includes the formulation of clear procedures to help deliver an approved policy, without compromising operational commitments. We will identify areas for improvement, set SMART targets, introduce a forum to co-ordinate the energy strategy and provide access to resources to secure finance. Monitoring & Targeting Our Energy Consultants can introduce a comprehensive energy management system to assist you in measuring your energy consumption and cost across your full range of buildings. We will analyse your bill processing procedures to help deliver an increased level of control. Advice may include metering and sub-metering options, selection of communications technology and a review of bill processing procedures. Metering We offer a range of solutions to assist with Smart Metering and AMR (Automated Meter Reading) to enable you to manage electricity, gas and water consumption to control costs, minimise risks and reduce carbon emissions. Our solutions can include supply of metering hardware, installation, maintenance and the collection of consumption data to provide to your supplier to comply with industry standards. Energy Surveys & Audits TEAM’s Energy Consultants carry out building energy surveys to identify where energy and water savings can be made. Surveys include the physical inspection of premises, at a level of detail to suit you. A report will be provided with suggested improvement measures, classified in the range of no-cost / low-cost solutions and those requiring some capital investment. Project Management We can provide you with a Project Management service to assist with implementing a range of energy saving measures, including those recommended by your energy survey. This includes full management of the scheme from arranging funding through grants, leasing, loans or other financial assistance through to commissioning and monitoring of subsequent savings. Feasibility Studies TEAM’s consultants can provide a full assessment of the viability of any energy and water saving measures that have been identified by site surveys, ie installation of lighting controls, CHP, boiler replacements and Building Management System (BMS). This includes obtaining competitive quotations for any proposals, evaluating the potential savings and preparing the full financial Business Case for improvements, using Discount Factors, Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return as necessary. Renewables & Low Carbon Technologies
TEAM provides renewable and alternative energy advice to help you reduce carbon emissions and fuel costs as well as capitalise on financial incentives such as Feed in Tariffs, Renewable Heat Incentive and CCL exemptions. Carbon Footprinting
TEAM’s qualified energy consultants can determine your carbon footprint and calculate carbon performance indicators to take into account changes in business activities and structure. This includes the assessment of key emissions from buildings, transport and waste using the international GHG Protocol standards. Information gathered will be collated into a Carbon Footprint Analysis Report which can cover multiple sites and individual footprints for each site if required.
