Naandi and Communication

• As part of Capgemini Norway and Sogeti Norway Innovation Games 2008, Team 11C was assigned the task of developing a communication strategy and suggested solutions for how the Naandi Foundation should communicate with the outside world:

– How to create awareness of Naandi?– How to receive donations?– How to make Naandi’s work visible?

Our approach to the task• Team 11C is an international team, whose members work in

different languages and timezones. We decided to use English as our working language during the task, and Google Groups as our workspace. A number of additional, publicly available web-based collaboration tools were used, including:

– Google Docs for activity and contact lists – MindMeister mindmaps for brainstorming our strategy – Microsoft Messenger instant messaging – Facebook Groups for awareness and social networking– Meebo instant messaging – Ning social networking for presenting our team – YouTube for sharing videos – Doodle online polling and event planning – SlideShare for posting PowerPoint presentations– Wikipedia as a multilingual information channel – WordPress blog and website for presenting our results

• Contacted NRK and the police in Lillehammer to arrange recording of street interviews with the general public– Anchoring of our suggestions in the general public

• Interviewed Naandi-COM, Norwegian management and colleagues– Aligning of our suggestions with the current communications

strategy
