Introduction

In this work I’m going to present part of the topics seen in my practicum. My experience was in a municipal school which has 2 careers: food and tourism. I had 2 classes: first and second medio. In these classes there are students from different schools: for that reason the level of English in the class is very varied. It makes difficult at the moment to design the lesson plan.

In these courses I could identify and work 2 units: in second medio unit 4 “whatever you do or make, do it and make it well” and second medio unit 5 “music-songs and words”. To plan these units I had to adapt them to their careers (in the case of second medio). Fortunately, one of the main topics was jobs and careers so I could help them to think about what they are going to do.

In this work we have the necessary materials to practice 3 of the 4 main skills to develop the English language. Any person could apply these activities because there are very well explained. Here we have the 3 main steps to guide our activities: pre, post and while.

Conclusion

As a conclusion I can say the most difficult part was fins and create the appropriate activities to follow the main topic, the required skill, the vocabulary, use of language and find a variety of objectives mainly. In these lesson plans I have used different methods like communicative language teaching,
