Differentiate lesson plans where necessary

Modify homework assignments or content, give more time

Give students the freedom to make choices where appropriate

For example, choosing books or essay topics

Send home newsletters to parents, set up conferences, set goals with students each quarter

Give real world examples, and examples that are relatable

Take an interest in students lives

Review prior lessons

Make connections across content areas

For example, incorporate reading into

social studies lessons

+Measuring Effectiveness

Meet individually with students as often as possible to

measure progress or deal with concerns

Have students write a journal and communicate with them

through it, have them answer questions, make

connections, etc.

Ask students for feedback, provide them with feedback on

progress

Allow for participation

Get the students actively involved in learning

Making a difference in their lives and setting them up for success in the future

Education is the key to successful futures and lives

No child should be denied an education

Education can lead to a better and more peaceful world

Guiding students to find what they enjoy most and fueling passionate, hardworking students
