*Complete the Soundwaves page for ‘ck’ Take a photo of the ‘ck’ page and upload it into Google Classrooms in the English Activities folder. * Think of 5 words that have the ‘ck' sound. E.g duck, flick, clock. Draw a picture to match each of the words.

Daily Task: Complete the daily calendar in Google Classroom. English *Write 2 sentences about your favourite toy. What is your favourite toy and why do you like it? “My favourite toy is __” “I like it because ____” Draw your toy and label it. Take a photo and upload it onto Google Classrooms in the English Activities folder.

*Read a book to a parent/carer OR read a book of your choosing from Wushka. Look at the front cover. What do you think the story will be about? Then read the book to find out if you were right.

You can also find this video on your Google Classroom page under the Additional Activities folder. Write a sentence about what you look like (I have blonde hair and green eyes.) Draw a picture to match. Take a photo and upload it onto Google Classrooms in the English Activities folder.

Daily Task: Complete the daily calendar in Google Classroom. English Revision of b and h. Complete the ‘Initial sound sort’ worksheets on the sounds b and h. *Guided Writing. - write in your homework book. “I like ___ because ______.”

Discuss the linking word because and brainstorm adjectives to use in the sentence. Discuss descriptive words and encourage students to write a second sentence about what they do with the thing they like. Draw a detailed picture to match the sentence.

Log into Google Classroom and complete the ‘Beginning Sounds Week 4’ task. This can be found in the classwork folder under English Activities. Don’t forget to turn in your work when you have completed the slides. OR Complete the ‘First Sound Bubbles’ worksheet.

Draw your favourite part of the story. Complete the handwriting phonics sheet ‘Kk’. You will find an instructional video in your Google Classrooms to assist you with your learning.

*Complete the guided writing sentence sheet (My Dad shouted at our cat and dog.) Unjumble the sentence and write it as neatly as you can on the line. Remember to use capital letters, fingers spaces and a full stop. Take a photo and upload it onto Google Classrooms in the English Activities folder.

Complete the handwriting phonics sheet ‘Gg’. You will find an instructional video in your Google Classrooms to assist you with your learning.

*Problem of the day: Farmer John had 8 cows in his paddock. 3 cows got out and ran away. How many does he have left? Draw a picture to solve the problem. *Log into Google Classroom and complete the ‘Number of the Day - 14’ activity. This can be found in the classwork folder under Maths Activities. Don’t forget to turn in your work when you have completed the slides. OR Complete the number of the day worksheet for the number ‘14’. * Watch the ‘Adding to ten’ video below.

Mathematics *Problem of the day: If you had 12 jellybeans and 4 lollipops, how many lollies would you have altogether? Draw a picture to solve the problem. * Log into Google Classroom and complete the ‘2D Shapes - Week 4’ activity. This can be found in the classwork folder under Maths Activities. Don’t forget to turn in your work when you have completed the slides. OR Complete the 2D shape hunt worksheet. * Watch the ‘Adding to ten’ video again and complete the ‘Making ten with ten frames’ activity.

Mathematics *Problem of the day: Jennifer had 6 hotdogs, 3 bags of chips and 4 hamburgers. How much food does Jennifer have altogether. Draw a picture to solve the problem. * Log into Google Classroom and complete the ‘Length - Week 4’ activity. This can be found in the classwork folder under Maths Activities. Don’t forget to turn in your work when you have completed the slides. OR Complete the ‘Length A’ and ‘Length B’ worksheets.

Mathematics *Problem of the day: Tiffany had 10 eggs in her fridge, she cooked and ate 6 of them for breakfast. How many eggs are left in Tiffany’s fridge? Draw a picture to solve the problem. * Log into Google Classroom and complete the ‘Addition Mats - Week 4’ activity. This can be found in the classwork folder under Maths Activities. Don’t forget to turn in your work when you have completed the slides. OR Complete the ‘Addition - to ten’ mathletics worksheet.

Mathematics *Problem of the day: Rachel has 3 apples, 2 bananas and 5 oranges in her fruit bowl. How many pieces of fruit does she have altogether? Draw a picture to solve the problem. * Cut up the number flashcards and play a game of memory. Turn each number over 1 at a time and say the number out loud. If the 2 numbers match you get to keep them. If they do not match, turn them back over. The person with the most pairs is the winner. Handwriting Complete the handwriting sheet ‘Bb’.
