NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the authority under section 3 of the Temporary Variation of Statutory Deadlines Act, the Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, on the advice of the Attorney General, hereby varies the following deadlines and time periods:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the authority under section 3 of the Temporary Variation of Statutory Deadlines Act, the Minister of Natural Resources, on the advice of the Attorney General, hereby varies the following deadline:
Under the Mineral Act, RSNL1990 c. M-12:Section 39(2) The requirement to submit a notice of grievance within 30 days of the decision of the recorder, or within 30 days of the occurrence of the event is varied to 90 days.
Under the Mineral Regulations, CNLR 1143/96:Section 52(b) The requirement to remedy deficiencies or apply for an extension under Condition 2 of Schedule A or B to the Mineral Act within 30 days is varied to 90 days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that an application has been made to the Department of Fisheries and Land Resources, Agriculture and Lands Branch, to acquire title, pursuant to section 7(2)(d) of the said Act, to that piece of Crown lands situated within 15 metres of the waters of Rocky Ridge Pond for the purpose of portable floating wharf and boathouse.

CORRECTION NOTICE

1. S.2 Amdt.Exempt shops
1. (1) Section 2 of the Shops' Closing Regulations is amended by renumbering it as subsection 2(1), deleting the word "and" at the end of paragraph (m), deleting the period at the end of paragraph (n) and substituting a semi-colon and the word "and" and by adding immediately after paragraph (n) the following:
(o) retail shops that provide services essential to the life, health or personal safety of individuals and animals including

(ix) hardware supplies, and
(x) pet and animal supplies.
(2) Section 2 of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after subsection (1) the following:

1. The Licensed Practical Nurses Regulations, 2011 are amended by adding immediately after section 4 the following:
4.1 (1) Where the registrar or the board determines that there is an immediate need for practical nursing services due to an actual or potential threat to public safety, health or welfare or where the ministeror the federal Minister of Health makes a request, the registrar may issue an emergency licence.
(2) A person may be issued an emergency licence for a period of time determined by the registrar or the board where he or she
(a) provides proof satisfactory to the registrar or the board thathe or she
(i) is licensed to practice as a practical nurse in another jurisdiction in Canada,
(ii) has successfully completed a program of education for practical nurses approved by the board in Canada within the past 12 months and has not failed a writing of theapproved practical nurse licensure exam, or
(iii) was previously licensed to practice as a practical nursein the province;
(b) provides proof satisfactory to the registrar or the board that his or her licence has not been revoked, suspended or restricted or has conditions attached by reasons of disciplinary or other regulatory measures in another jurisdiction;
(c) provides proof of identification as required by the registraror the board; and
(d) satisfies any other requirements as the registrar or the boardmay determine are necessary and practicable in the circumstances.
(3) The registrar or the board may accept the declaration of the person as proof that he or she satisfies one or more of the requirements in subsection (2).

(4) An emergency licence issued under subsection (2) may be renewed as considered necessary by the registrar or board.
(5) The registrar or the board may impose terms, conditions or restrictions on an emergency licence issued under subsection (2).
(6) The registrar or the board may terminate an emergency licence issued under subsection (2) at any time.
