Wedge Style Tensile Grips Bulletin TD-1007 Description: Flat wedge and vee wedge grips for testing flat and round specimens. Grips are made from high alloy steel and faces are machine cut, hardened, and ground to tolerances that ensure proper gripping. Grips are supported in accurately aligned crosshead pocket by grip pinion shaft and operated with rack on side of each grip and pinion on shaft. Grips are available in many capacities and typically rated to the maximum capacity of the test frame. Used On: Super L hydraulic testing machines and Electomatic materials testing machines with closed crossheads Applications: Metals and other high strength materials Specifications: Max.
