Step 1 – eight people from areas around the world that are FIRST and MOST AFFECTED by climate change create Baseline 1.0 of The Copenhagen Story using an on-line collaboration tool.

Here is the question they respond to:

“Imagine that you are in 2025. Despite many obstacles and hurdles in the way, focus instead on the assumption that people have made the right choices and found the right answers to climate change. Beginning with the part of the world you are most familiar with and expanding to a global perspective, look around you, hear around you, touch, taste and smell the world around you. Using the baseline story as a starting point, describe this world in detail, as if you are painting a picture with words. Edit, change, alter, borrow and modify the baseline story as you wish – this is your vision.”

Step 2 – During October and November, 50 subject matter experts from diverse global locations and with expertise in a wide range of topics will expand on the key ideas and concepts in the Baseline Story in response to the following question: “What 3 things MUST HAPPEN for The Copenhagen Story to become true in 2025? Please describe HOW we can make this reality based on your expertise, knowledge and insight. Submit your response in any of a number of ways using The Copenhagen Story on-line Expansion ‘HOW WE DID IT tool.”

Step 3 – The Copenhagen Story is

Expansions can come in a variety of ways!
