TBN and Hillsong to Launch New 24-Hour Channel This Month!

For 43 years TBN has been on a God-ordained quest to carry the Gospel to every person, everywhere, and to

equip and encourage Believers all over planet Earth with the promises of God’s Word.

In the passionate pursuit of that goal, over the years we have added numerous networks focused directly on the needs of various age groups and cultures. Network by

network, the Trinity Broadcasting Family of Networks has been assembled by the grace of God and with the help of our faithful partners.

We launched a network for children (Smile of a Child) and one for teenagers (JUCE TV). The TBN Family of Net-works now has dozens of members addressing the ministry needs of a myriad of cultures, languages, and geographies.

But until now, something very important has been missing!

A generation sometimes labeled “Millennials”—a huge segment of the world’s population filled with

globally-conscious, outreach-minded individuals—has been woefully under-served by Christian television. But that is about to change.

TBN and Hillsong Unite to Reach a Global GenerationA God-ordained, heaven-arranged collaboration with the iconic interna-tional ministry, Hillsong Church, has resulted in the June 1st launch of the Hillsong Channel! It is our new platform for releasing innovative, revolutionary Christian content.

As you may know, Hillsong Church was born in Sydney, Australia, but over the last 20 years, under the leadership of Pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston, it has become a global phenomenon, especially in the realm of worship. Today, Hillsong has large and rapidly growing church congregations in key cities like London, Paris, Stockholm, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, New York, and Los Angeles—making Hillsong’s ministry truly international in flavor and perspective.

That’s why I am absolutely thrilled to welcome the Hillsong Channel to the TBN Family of Networks.

I know Pastor Brian Houston of Hill-song is just as excited as I am. In his own words: “This new aspect of the Hillsong global vision is unlike anything we have launched up to this point. It’ll be a con-tinuous, 24/7 feed that will be exalting Jesus and empowering people for every part of life.”

When I contemplate the potential of this new venture, I think it will be a true game-changer. This is a God-idea. And with this step, I really believe we are making progress in completing the TBN Family of Networks’ reach to every age group and demographic.

Like before, we’ll continue to bring the Gospel to this generation on a global scale. That’s one of the things I always like to emphasize to you—our faithful partner. Everything TBN does is on an international and global scale.

We’re a global network with a global mission. And now we’re joining hands with another international spiritual

force for the Kingdom—Hillsong—united in the cause of fulfilling Jesus’ great commission to preach the Gospel to the whole world and make disciples.

“In the Midst of Darkness, the Gospel Remains in the UK.”The United Kingdom is an unprecedented spiritual crux. As it has moved away from Christianity to a worldview philosophy, darkness has increased. Christianity is now under attack as UK culture no longer iden-tifies with Scripture. TBN UK is a unique beacon of hope in a time of spiritual urgency. It is the very first time a Christian television network has reached the UK with the broadcasting ability to reach every home in the UK. The light of the Gospel is beginning to spread. Yet this is not without the cost of attacks and persecution. Recently, TBN UK was rep-rimanded by government officials for airing a testimony of someone who was miraculously healed by God. The powerful testimony sparked con-troversy as the airing was met with rebuttals of unbelief and demands for proof in order for TBN to be able to proclaim on air that Jesus heals. In spite of the many attacks on the Gospel, the broadcast signal is still reaching every home in the UK. And the light will dispel the darkness as the Gospel of hope and grace continues to be broadcast 24/7.
