Support Toronto’s only tall ship-based youth leadership program Toronto Brigantine is proud and excited to participate in Great Lakes United Tall Ship Challenge 2010 . The Tall Ship Challenge promotes water conservation education and youth sail training. . The first stop of the Challenge is the Toronto Waterfront Festival from Jun 30 to July 4 th . Both the STV Pathfinder and TS Playfair will be participating with 14 other tall ships. We are offering four-hour group sail training each day of the Festival. Cost: $1,000 per charter for up to 25 people. Minimum 12 years of age. Choose either an afternoon sail (from 1 to 5pm) or a sunset sail (from 6 to 10pm). This is a unique Canada Day weekend adventure ... an up-close experience at a Tall Ship event... a chance to participate as a crew member onboard a working tall ship ... not to mention, fabulous photo opportunities of Toronto’s ever changing skyline and all the Tall Ships in port and around the harbour. All the proceeds from Toronto Brigantine’s group sail events go to support our youth sail training programming.
