~Biography~

Taylor Alison Swift was born the 13th of December of 1989 in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She started crafting songs at the age of 5 and at the age of 16, she released her debut album.

Her grandmother had been a professional opera singer, and Swift soon followed her steps. She began writing her own songs and learning guitar at 12 years old.

She won the Academy of Country Music's Female Vocalist of the Year.

During much of 2008, reports circulated that Swift was dating Joe Jonas from the popular musical group the Jonas Brothers.

Swift first learned to play guitar from a computer repairman who showed her how to play three chords. After learning those three chords, she wrote her first song, "Lucky You".
