You can see through the style of Taylors Album covers her image has quite dramatically. Her first 3 album’s look quite similar she has curly hair with girly colours to represent her look and feminine side. Her make up is pretty subtle and her outfits are girly and not to sexy.

Her latest album that she has released is very different, her look has changed quite a lot. The colours are more darker toned. Her hair is straight and she seems to be more hidden. She also has the colour red incorporated into it which could suggest love or anger.

By doing this shows how normal she is just to other girls which inspires them helping them look up to her showing them they can be just like her and that she enjoys normal things just like every other girl. It also shows she passionate about music and other things and that her music and lyrics mean something to her which again other girls can look up to her and she can relate to normal girls about being in love and heart broken. By writing this shows that the image she is trying to portray is a normal girl who can relate and inspire young teenage girls.

This song was on her very first album I have taken this song to show the contrast to what her image was like then and what it is like now. Even though physically her appearance hasn’t changed much her music and music video’s have changed quite a bit. Back then when this music video came out she was seen as the beautiful classy girl who wrote songs about love and being in love, she was seen to be this country and western girl with a pop edge. Someone that was different and had a personal connection to her lyrics

A couple of albums on and this is what she has become. That country and western with a pop edge has gone. It seems now she is completely pop which is highlighted with her fierce lyrics.
