These beneficial effectsare mainly due to the vital substances glucosamine sulfate (300 mg)and chondroitin sulfate (38 mg), which are known as natural buildingblocks of healthy joint cartilage.

The demand for essential vital substances in the joints cannotalways be covered with our regular daily diet. This is due to the factthat a large portion of the vitamins and minerals contained in ourfood is lost during prolonged periods of storage and/or improperpreparation such as overcooking, warming over, etc. Thus, forinstance, the content of vitamin B6 in milk is reduced by up to 50%by heating or prolonged exposure to sunlight.
