Major Responsibilities & Duties Prepare federal and state income tax returns Prepare and organize tax files Prepare projections for year‐end tax strategies Preparation of year‐end tax closing including journal entries Respond to IRS and state tax notices Work as part of an integrated team Communicate directly with clients as directed by Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: Must have 5+ years of tax experience at CPA firms Diversified tax experience including C & S corps, Partnerships/ LLC, individual and fiduciary returns Proficient with ProSystem FX and BNA Experience with ProFx Engagement a plus CPA designation required Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Exhibit good judgment when dealing with client issues Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines Excellent PC Skills (MS Excel, Word, QuickBooks)
