Today is Friday, December 15, 2017 Please congratulate our FFA Sub-District competitors and winners: o Alisa Lawson competed in Prepared Public Speaking o PaulJon Olson placed 3rd in Extemperaneous Public Speaking o Austin McGrath placed 2nd in Tractor Operations FBLA will be hosting a Student/Teacher Volleyball game on Tuesday. Tickets will be on sale today and Friday during lunches. Tickets are $2.00 for seniors and $3.00 for all other students. Students interested in playing against the teachers must be an athlete at THS and have a completed athletics packet on file – sign- ups to play will be during lunch on Wednesday and Thursday – and a final approved roster will be posted on Monday. Come out and support our teachers and students in this fun event. Tavares Varsity Boys’ Basketball will be participating in the two day Florida State Elks Association Holiday Basketball Classic in Umatilla December 27th and December 28th. Games start at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Teams participating in the tournament are Eustis High, South Sumter High, Liberty Christian, and your very own Tavares High. FBLA will be hosting a Student/Teacher Volleyball game on Tuesday. Tickets will be on sale today and Friday during lunches. Tickets are $2.00 for seniors and $3.00 for all other students.
