Jake Hyatt Unit 73 Task 7 Envelopes: For this next audio sequence I began to learn about and use the track envelopes that you could use by selecting the track I wanted my clicking on it. Then in the left window I clicked on the box in the bottom left. This then brought me to this window where I only selected volume as I wanted this audio to start off quiet but get louder and louder, then hitting a peak before become quiet again to give a sence of distance so that all the audio wasn’t just the same volume making it flat, dull and boring.

Envelopes:

For this next audio sequence I began to learn about and use the track envelopes that you could use by selecting the track I wanted my clicking on it.

Selecting this brought this green line below my original track but also had a faded track behind it so that it was easier for me to see where the vloume would rise and lower. To add the points I only had

I used the same method for my second piece of audio however I also added a fade to this track for move effect.

For this last track instead of ajusting the volume settings I ticked the pan box instead which creates a yellow line instead of a green one. I added and moved the points the same way but the effect is different. Doing this gives a sense of movement as if a person has ran towards you, infront or you and then ran in the opposite direction. This happenes because the lower points means that more sound is coming though the right headphone/speaker, the middle projects sound from both and the higher points project more sound from the left headphone/speaker.
