What is distribution?

Distribution is is where films are sent all over the world by one company to different cinemas in different countries so they can make a profit to keep their company running.

Major distribution companies include Blockbuster which has been running for years. Paramount pictures which own very famous films.

We have produced a film that is a thriller genre which appeals to many audiences today generally being ages from 16-30 as they are the age groups that are most likely to be featured in these films. I think distribution companies may be interested in our film as our target audience is the most likely ages to be visiting the cinema. Our film is not only going to appeal to UK audiences as it will appeal to different countries as there countries also enjoy thrillers.
