I think that the Simpsons website is very well put together and the movement of the features and characters are very eye-catching as well. As a whole, I feel that the colours and the main aspects of the website are definitely without any shadow of a doubt is keeping in touch with the overall theme and it does make use of suitable styles which have been supplemented within the main interactive elements throughout the site.

It predominately uses a yellow colour scheme which has been implemented as part of the main template throughout the website. It has also been incorporated as text captions and Characters etc.

The text that is used throughout the Simpsons website I think has been very well combined in terms of text overlay with a background image and the colours of the text are very adequate meaning that they fits well with the colour scheme. I am unable to get a reading and illustrate the exact font type but I am guessing it is a Calibri (Body) where the size alters throughout the size.

In general I feel that it makes efficient use of the main backdrop illustration within the site it uses a fade out effect for the Simpsons logo throughout except from the homepage where this signifies a change in the look of the logo for the website.

The logo as shown above I feel has been conducted very professionally as it is an official brand of the Simpsons website which ultimately helps the users to clearly identify who the site represents.

The website banner I think has been very well constructed in terms of scenery and animation where it shows zoom in, classic tweening and zoom out anime effects that have been incorporated within the banner. For instance, I click on the about button it would then zoom out from the initial homepage and then it would move right in motion and then zoom in.

The screen icon that is used throughout the Simpsons website is mainly representable of the FOX channel on Sky Television where it allows users to access information of the broadcasting of the FOX Company related towards the Simpsons. It also shows promotional material of reality TV such as, The X-Factor USA where you can find out more about the TV series programme through social networking sites such as, Twitter and Facebook etc.

The rollover buttons are mainly comprised of 3-d dimensional navigation buttons which means that this involves the style, background and text within the anchors of the site. For example, I clicked back on the homepage button that interactive feature would be flat and the one I exited which was the about button would turn into a 3-d object.

Throughout the Simpsons website there are animations in which users can and cannot control. There has also been a supplementary anime effect that has been applied towards the opening screen that is called a preloader where it is continually spinning in motion clockwise.

The navigation in my opinion is very good in terms of rollover effects and house style of the interactive features within the site. For example, the view all recaps anchor on the recaps section within the website fade in from red to light-red.

There are a mixture of sound effects and voice speakers of the actual characters within the Simpsons website where the sound effects are integrated throughout and some of the voice speakers are mainly through the characters section in which you can follow the URL web address links as shown below:
