TASK: ADVERTISING PLAN Aims and Objectives: We will be posting our poster all over social medias such as Instagram, Flickr, Twitter and Facebook. By doing this we are attracting a warm audience (people who are already aware of this shop) this will be more likely to be young adults and teenagers as the sort of style and sizes are mainly for people in this group. By doing this we will also be getting the attention of some cold audiences and people might retweet, reply or favourite a tweet from the shop for example therefore people who follow that person will get to see this on the timeline. Also some people might go to the shop, buy some clothing items/ accessories and use the hash tag and/or the ‘@’ to tag the shop in it which again will attract the warm audience and also the cold one. For the cold audience we have also got posters that will be posted locally around Cambridge (as it’s a local/ independent shop unlike other shops like Primark) we will also be giving out flyers with the same style as the poster but smaller which will be given to the cold audience to get their attention and present to them a new shop which is locally which sells vintage clothing and accessories. TASK: ADVERTISING PLAN

Aims and Objectives:

We will be posting our poster all over social medias such as Instagram, Flickr, Twitter

and Facebook. By doing this we are attracting a warm audience (people who are

already aware of this shop) this will be more likely to be young adults and teenagers

as the sort of style and sizes are mainly for people in this group. By doing this we will

also be getting the attention of some cold audiences and people might retweet, reply

or favourite a tweet from the shop for example therefore people who follow that

person will get to see this on the timeline.

Also some people might go to the shop, buy some clothing items/ accessories and

use the hash tag and/or the ‘@’ to tag the shop in it which again will attract the

warm audience and also the cold one. For the cold audience we have also got

posters that will be posted locally around Cambridge (as it’s a local/ independent

shop unlike other shops like Primark) we will also be giving out flyers with the same

style as the poster but smaller which will be given to the cold audience to get their

attention and present to them a new shop which is locally which sells vintage

clothing and accessories.

Target Audience:

The target audience for this shop is, like I’ve mentioned before, young adults and

teenagers, as they are more likely to be interesting in this sort of clothing items and

accessories. Also people who live locally or travel here therefore we will be

distributing our posters and flyers around colleges in Cambridge, Universities, Sixth

Forms, Train Stations, Buses and common areas which students might visit such s

McDonalds, Subway, Primark, TK Maxx, Claire’s and Waterstones.

Campaign Message:

Page 2: Task 150518094936-lva1-app6891

Our campaign message is to grab the attention of cold audience to increase the

popularity of the shop. As it is a local shop which is only situated in Cambridge(and

its in a hidden location) it will be good to add a map on the poster which is what we

did. We also want to make sure that the clothes that are being sold in Jemporium are

100% vintage and are clothes that are at least 20 years old.

Campaign Schedule and Launch Dates

For our advertising campaign, we agreed with our client that the launch date for our

campaign would be the 18th of February.

Consideration of Seasonal and Calendar Events

The models are wearing different clothing styles in most of the photographs we did,

she liked an specific design therefore we chose to do that one.

Location

Jemporium is in Cambridge, in front of Primark which is in the city centre where all

the shops are.

Relevant/ Ethical Issues

We could have some issues with the fact that there are only white models so the

shop could be seen as a ‘white shop’

It could be false advertising in the sense that its an independent vintage clothing

therefore it is not likely that they will have the same item that shows in the poster in

the store as it could of got sold.
